Depending on how many coins you have the best way to prepare was to sell your team about 3 weeks ago, buy a cheaper team to play with and sit on the majoirty of your coins.
About 3 weeks ago I sold Ronaldo and birthday Mbappe for just under 3 million, they’re now about worth about 2.2 million.

Bad luck. I did the middle icon sbc on my phone using the web app acwhile ago not expecting anything great (got vieri on the base icon sbc before) and unveiled Gullit haha. Precisely why i went for the Costa card . After getting Gullit before in mid icon SBC i think i probably used all my luck on that.Got my VVD turns out you dont need any ex-teams but still managed to shift most for same I paid so wasnt too bad, cost me about 650k in total to complete. Well worth it.
Also got ronaldinho in my baby icon pack which I'm really happy with considering the amount of duds possible to pull.

I’d just do it now, I’ve held packs before some for months waiting for tots and I’ve got sod all from them. Just open them and enjoy CR7.
That's what I'm thinking at the moment, can then use him in the rest of my weekend league games as well.
Well he is pretty much the best player on the game, it’s like he’s programmed different he just does things other cards can’t do, he will be good in weekend league no doubt.

I've started playing a 4-4-1-1 (2) and I'm playing him CM using shadow chem style and he's been a different player! I've won 7 in a row on rivals which I've not done for months.
Btw, I cannot recommend PIM Lineker enough. The man finishes everything.

Do you find man mark to be useful in any way? I’ve never used it in fear of it dragging my holding midfielder out of position. I play a 41212 narrow.

To be honest I don’t feel much difference between man mark and cut passing lanes for CDMs. Both should have its advantages but I don’t know which one is best. Obviously man mark should make the CDMs stick closer to the opponent which to me sounds better than them moving away from the opponent to block passing lanes. People will just pass around said player and the opponent that the CDM left will be unmarked. This is all hypothetical though, as I said I don’t feel like I’m playing better (or worse) with man marking, but it just sounds better to me. I don’t think the CDMs change their behaviour massively based on these instructions.
Seems to be a lot of hype on twitter with league sbcs to make coins/get packs. Anyone do this? Interested to see if anyone here does it... im tempted
I can't play the game as my PS4 is busted (always thought it was my internet.) Been doing BPM and league method for a couple of weeks about 10-20 minutes a day on the web app. My club value has went from really low (30m or so to really high, over 200m (highest of the Caf members in the PS League).
My coins went from 30k to only about 130k. I now have 2k players though.
It works but it works really, really slowly if you can't commit time (which I can't). I also haven't completed a single entire league but lots of teams. I'd imagine if you completed all the leagues, along with the extra players you'd make minimum 6-700k profit to go with all those players.
I'd also imagine it slows down a lot when you get all icon bronze and silver icon teams done though. Those packs tend to drive a lot of the profit.
what is your approach to it all? Opening loads of bronze packs to start? Don't even know where to begin
Yup, I just followed Nepethez method, open a ton of bronze packs.
Keep all the league SBC bronzes..
Use all rare bronzes from leagues that don't have SBC's in the icon bronze section (humble beginnings)
Use all non-rare bronzes from leagues that don't have SBC's in Bronze Upgrade Packs to get silver players.
Sell all duplicates.
When you have about 1k bronzes and start hitting loads of duplicates, stop doing bronzes.
Use you silver packs from upgrade methods.
Keep all the league silvers.
All rare from non SBC leagues into Icon Silver packs (gets you gold players)
All non-rare into Silver Upgrade packs.
It takes awhile and you will drop way down in cash before going back up. When you have loads of cash to burn, keep doing BPM until you have 90ish duplicates on the transfer list, than move on to silver run through silvers and repeat.
Almost forgot when you have 7 or 8 players from a team, go and do the SBC. I use the futbin import and pretty do all teams that come up less than 3k. Bigger teams when it will cost me less than 5 and biggest teams plus stupid price fixed ones for 20k max.
There are certain teams you have to pay for and they cost stupid coins that should be avoided because they are stupidly priced (Huesca, Valladolid and Utrecht being examples) so only do those clubs when you have the rest of the league done and players to do alot of clubs a second time.
So for example with La Liga the 2 above clubs cost 100k (1/3rd of the league cost). make sure you have every club completed and enough players to do about 10 of them a second time before completing those (as you'll have to pay) to get your cash back.
It's slow going and not for everyone (if I could play the game I wouldn't do it) but if you enjoy that kind of thing and you can put in time you'll fly up.
Nepenthez went from a new club with 0 players to 200k coins and over 1000 players in 10 hours.

Thanks very much for the reply, that's well detailed. I will do this on the app. I don't get to play much so I enjo this sort of thing. Only thing is I am trading and usually have my TP full. But might open a ton of bronze packs when things clear and see how much I can get done
It’s best to do it at the start of fifa. It does work eventually but it’s such a tedious method for this stage of the game.
