Gaming FIFA 18 Ultimate Team

Is the Rui Costa sbc worth the coins spent on it? I've done 6/7 parts, I did 3 a few weeks ago and just finished another 3.

I've bought the cheap 84 rated players needed and now I need around 180k for the rest of the team. I use a PL team and have Modric, Isco, Pjanic, Filipe Luis and Mbappe I could sell now to fund it as I don't use them.

I packed Mbappe too in one pack and he's only going for 63k, will his price go up again? And modric has dropped from 75k to 55k, will his price go up?

The 86 Schmeichel is better than the 92 one. With SBC‘s better to wait for reviews and go for offensive players, just more worth it than GKs or defenders. Neuer isnt the greatest either this year
 
Begovic and Fährmann will do pretty much the same job as Neuer, Schmeichel and almost all of the other 90+ goalkeepers at a fraction of a fraction of the price.

De Gea seems to be a level above other keepers, but still far from being worth it in my opinion.

Most expensive packs are the 125k packs, also do 100k packs. Probably be released closer to Christmas Day.

I played against him today in WL. 16 shots on target, all inside the box, all low driven (I only know one way to play sadly) only 2 goals and both rebounds. Won the game but after 60 minutes I was cursing his name.

WL for me not going great again 9 wins from 20 or 21 games can't remember.
 
Think this is the quickest I've dropped fifa. Hardly played the last few weeks as it just isn't enjoyable.
 
Don't understand this game - have a class French/LaLiga team (Griezmann, mutant Saul card that upgrades itself, Varane, Dembele etc) that I can't seem to buy a win with, but my average prem side smashes everyone atm. Same system, players have similar stats, it's just weird.

I did get lucky last weekend. Played 30 games, won 19 and I swear only one was a difficult game to play in from a stress point of view. The rest actually resembled football games, Lots of possession and people manually defending, most fun I’ve had with any online fifa.

Played 5 games this week, only needed 3 wins for next monthly level, got them and won’t touvh WL again this year. Every game a grind, one I won 8-6, another 7-7 and won on pens.

Yeah I’ve got like 350k sat there and normally I’d be racing to spend it on someone and try them out, but I’ve just not got the motivation to play it at all.
 
Alba, Marcelo or IF Rousillon - who would you guys recommend out of them three?

I have spent a bit of money and got some decent pulls like Hazard, Iniesta & Ozil but for the money I have spent I have not got enough back!

On the other hand, my brother who puts nothing into the game always comes back with great pulls! This week alone a Ramos and a De Gea! Very frustrating!

IF rousillon the most well rounded, alba the most effective if you let your fullbacks join the attack.
 
I’m 18-7 right now but can’t be arsed. Need to do Christmas shopping. Played some terrible “pay to lose teams” today. It must be sooo annoying spending thousands on this game and yet still get spanked.

Pulled 2 x Verratti, walker, Peterson IF, mkytaryan among a few other decent players from 3 jumbo rare player packs. If only the values weren't so shite!!

Dunno whether to sell now or hold tight hoping for the market to improve.

Playing SB earlier. Winning 2-1 in one of the games on world class which was going to put me on the brink of Gold 1. Then midway through the second half I get a message saying request couldn't be processed and the match was disconnected. Went on later assuming I could replay the game and it had it down as a 3-0 defeat. Now I'm ranked in Gold 3. Fuming.

Edit: I was sent out to the main FIFA menu after. When I tried to enter FUT it said something about the servers. Were they down for anyone by any chance?

Just packed Kante again and his price has plummeted. Currently sat on about 470k once he has sold and that's without even playing for weeks. No idea what to do with the cash.

Got back about 300k from all the packs I bought so went and got that special Ben Yedder and Griezmann - my gosh Have they been doing the biz.

I've only ever qualified for one, and that was with loan R9. Managed to get myself into Div 3 with this team, https://www.easports.com/fifa/ultimate-team/web-app/?showoffId=iu3N9TBlnNsNc:FFA18PS4 with the shithouse 'leave your CB totally alone, run around with Bakayoko, ping passes to your ridiculously pacey wingers' tactic.

I'm 100k from an icon to complete the Hernandez SBC, hoping for a Pepe IF.

Ah, that formation is great for finding a free man in space so can see how you can abuse dhat pace. I’ve not bothered with SBCs other than the advanced ones in the beginning but am considering doing the Rui Costa one, relatively cheap for such a well rounded card.

It's a monster of a card, finished it on Saturday and my god he's so good. Doesn't get brushed off the ball much by flimsy CMs, fast, grst dribbler and a nice long shot on him.

The perfect CM/CAM really, always seems beastly when I’ve come up against him. Initially wanted to save up for Pogba but will probably opt for Rui now. How much does his sbc cost now?

I thought the same about saving for Pogba, too much to save, rather invest it bit by bit. Also doing the individual challenges and seeing progression stops you from going off track. Around 400k ish, prices were really cheap for 83/84 rated players so that helped.
