Exactly! Your passing lanes get congested and you’re either left trying to attempt a dribble (ball rolls or whatever, risky) in the middle of the park to create the angle or going backwards.

I find setting them just to balanced works perfectly. The full back on the side you have possession goes forward whilst the other one stays back, always leaves 3 at the back, whereas with get forward they are always in line with the striker as soon as you get the ball and are so vulnerable to the counter
I know right! frustrating.. but I guess if it definitely affects gameplay, just need to suck it up and get on board.

You can definitely get caught out, but my 3 midfielders are of a particular profile (Decent pace and physical, good in the tackle (or boosted with chem card if not, I got powerhouse on kovacic)) so they usually cover well. I personally find the fullbacks helpful when they stay around the line of the ball and have them on catalyst chem so they’re involved in the buildup. Only ever run ahead of the line of the ball when there’s a gap to exploit.
They even score the odd goal when play is lop-sided and they make a late run in to the box!
Gueye is a good option in the mean time. Covers alot of ground, decent shot on him and is hard to knock off the ball. Can pick him up pretty cheap aswell, 2.5k when i picked him up.
My controller has finally given up so I'm going to have to fork out £45 for a new one to finish silver in WL. FFS.
His passing and shooting put me off, since Dembele found himself in a shooting position a fair bit and ballooned them over every time. Nothing to lose though, I'll give him a shot. Thanks.

Aye exact same problem, love Mbappe, might move IF Fekir back into CM, I’ve never found he plays quite as good as his stats would make you think.

Selling Kante, Bakayoko is much better and even though his shooting is terrible, Kantes is not much better. Allows me to add De Bruyne and drop Martial to the bench. Griezmann will be on 7 chem but hoping it doesn’t affect him too much.

I have him as a CDM alongside Herrera which lets me push Alli and my widemen forward more because they are both god at covering the ground. Good luck with it. If you do find any alternative options, let me know as I am looking to change up because my team has become a bit stale.

That happens every year. Players become cheaper and cheaper because there are more and more players on the market because people open packs, and there are so many new cards released that the demand for regular cards go down.
The prices for the packs are crazy. To get the Ultimate pack for 2,500 fifa points you’d need to buy 2,200 for £15.99 and 500 for £3.99
Just rage quit before even playing then. I’ve lost 8 games in a row and I’m matched against a team with 7 icons, Ronaldo and Bale? As soon as he paused it before kick off I left. Feck that and feck this game.
You should stop playing for some days then return again when you calm down. There's no point keeping playing if you're on a losing strike, because you become more and more angry that you start doing more mistakes and things become worse. I know this because I had this problem before too.
If you lose 2 games in a row stop playing immediately and go do something else to calm down.
Often those Credit Card FC guys are shit players. I've lost count of the amount of teams worth millions I've faced that I've spanked all over the park. Of course, he could be some insane beast player that gets top 100 every week and uses the reward coins to buy endless amounts of icons, but that's rarely the case.
TOTALLY agree. The ones who've bought their ritzy team are often shit. Stats won't win you games if you're tactically weak.
Is it actually beneficial to apply the chem style cards? Because although it boosts stats in some areas does it not then make others weaker as a result?
Do you really need your strikers to be able to defend, or defenders to be able to dribble and shoot? It’s a waste to have the stats allocated all over, when you can narrow them down to the areas you actually need.
It's not as straight forward as that though is it? For instance, my Morata has the Marksman card applied. Granted this increases his finishing but his pace and passing suffer as a result.
I've been finding him to be a bit shit to use. Wondering if this is why.

Ah the man cave. I'm making that move soon and can't wait. Bought a TV for it in the black Friday sales. Only 32" but it's only a small room. Just need to kick my child out of it now and move her into the spare room.
To be fair this is probably a 32" but it's old so the screen size is quite a lot less and I'm sat maybe slightly further away than I am from the TV downstairs. It all adds up to me struggling like feck

I've been considering getting him to replace Martial and leave Griezmann at CAM bit can't decide at all.
