Noticed a sharp drop on Lukaku after Liverpool, I wonder if the market is as fickle going the other way, should he grab a few today. Might just unload him if so ^_^

Just played against him, not convinced. Pace is great, dribbling is ok too, but his shooting wasnt great. Dont think he is worth the coins

Its crazy how fickle the market is. Look at Ibra. Very similar stats last season and was like 400k, now is 115k because hes been injured for a while so isnt very hyped anymore. Might buy him before hes back and then watch his price shoot up when he scores

Mertens was class but felt the same as Gomez. Having 2 of them in the same team was worth it though IMO. Manolas probably better then Benatia too. Played the 4 games in squad battles today, 2 on legendary and won, then 2 on professional and lost.

I played every game of squad battles last week, even at the weekends cause I checked the refresh schedule and made sure I played 12 games Saturday and the same Sunday and it fecked me over 16 out of the 24 games with its god awful ping pong passing. So now whatever I see doesn't surprise me, they've put a new feature on the game but it's as if they're reluctant to give you the top ranks without making you go crazy first. I've given up on it for this week but I'll give it another go next week, if I'm not happy after next week I'll pack it in, it's not worth the hassle.
It's worth it for me till now as it's the easiest method to collect coins till I can build a stronger team than I get, but the logic in these games is pretty weird. It seems playing on world class and professional looks much harder than on legendary.
Looks like I'll be able to get Elite 1 in squad battles. Hopefully I can pull something good in the mega packs.
I'm in elite 2 this week. The one disappointing thing between Elite 1 and 2 is a real lack of reward upgrades. 15k isn't that much.
Yeah I might even just neglect playing a single game today and just get elite 2. Or may just try a few games on ultimate and get trashed each time.

Once the WL finishes, going to sell Shevchenko and bring in pogba, dybala and griezmann. Already have pretty much 400k plus 850-900k from shevchenko should be enough.
Shevchenko is quality though. Jusy consistent and reliable, though not as fun to use as smaller more agile players. Think he has close to 50 goals in 30ish games, mostly in the weekend league.

Best players Van Dijk en Jesus, van Dijk is heavy, fast, beast in the air en very good on the ball. Jesus is just God.

I found Rose too small, Much prefer Darmian for his extra height and that 5* WF has got me countless goals cutting in from the left. Great little player with a shadow!
Tried Alonso, Rose and Kolasinac at LB and Darmian is easily the best for me. Played 150+ games with him and can’t fault him.

Changing my teams but in terms of position and best I've used:
GK - Oblak was great, but 40k not sure if he's worth that. Asenjo is 2k and very good as well.
RB - Valencia for expensive option, great physically and good on the ball too, florenzi second best for me. De Marcos very good for cheap option.
CB - Bailly the best I've used, fast and strong. Koulibaly-Manolas is a beastly partnership too as always and can get them for 15k combined I think.
LB - Alba has to be the best one in the game by far. Tried a bunch of others (Marcelo, Alex Sandro and alaba in drafts) and all have felt pretty mediocre or not worth the coins like alaba/sandro. IF Ghoulam was solid but for 40k, meh.
CDM - Not sure. Everyone seems to love bakayoko but I was meh about him. Gueye was solid. Maybe Khedira in my serie A side, as he's big and heavy but gets around the pitch really well and good on the ball too.
CM - Pogba's loan card was class, but also 500k. A lot of other solid options but no standouts at the top of my head.
CAM - Gomez/Mertens. Will try Dybala soon but those two are both 2 footed, crazy fast, great finishers and passers, but also threats from range. Not sure Mertens is actually any better then Gomez tbh despite the price difference, but he's class too.
RW - Dembele/Mkhitaryan. Both two footed and good all around, dembele much quicker, mkhitaryan stronger. Miki better shifted to cam with a formation change.
LW - Martial , tank in fifa as always. Fast, strong, great finisher, good passer. Perfect being switched up top too.
ST - Belotti quite good for cheap, though IF Icardi looks good and his 3if in fifa 17 was my favourite striker all year. Mbappe was class when I had him, Martial similar to that so I use him. 86 Shevchenko for a 900k player, 4* weak foot, strong, fast, tall, scores from anywhere. Everyone seems to use Jesus so I refuse to use him

I need another game changer alongside Griezmann maybe. Considering saving up for Suarez potentially. Such a good finisher and can hold the ball up.

Was 18-11. Lost back to back games on pens, one where i felt like the game was completely against me (random shit touches, misses, he scored 3 wonder goals and 2 screamers in the first 5 mins). Now 19-13 so I'm hoping for 23 or 24 wins. 23 and I need another 23 next week for gold 1, anything less and I'll top at 18 next week probably.
I dunno, I'm a bit of a noob myself on working the markets. I just check the historical values on futbin and see how it looks compared to that. At any rate you'll have a lot of dough to make a team from.
