:lol: I'm finally at that point where I feel I'm back to a standard where I wanna play online. Problem is, when I come up against them pace teams, the frustration sets in.
Football just seems to go out of the window at that point. I can imagine the WL being soul destroying :lol:

WL is better than seasons as the games are harder. I can stroll through seasons without even concentrating. So much so I've not even bothered playing through them yet.
 
Best out of my WL packs was Rashford and Son, maybe 50k combined.

Got Mata as a walkout, which has to be up there with the most disappointing.

Man, can you imagine the bullshit you have to face when you play 40 games every weekend! I’ve eventually learned to just not care. If I did I’d be constantly depressed. Just like surgeons can’t let all the deaths and shit get to them..

So tempted to get IF Zaha but i don’t think I’d enjoy it when he’d be paired with POTM mane.

Either him or Ibra, anyone used Ibra?

Only time I've used him was in a draft and he was lethal for me but I had to change the way I played.

Wasn't a big fan of Ibra. What he gained in passing, he lacked in pace. Costa was a much better all rounder for me and at a fraction of the price

Had him as a CAM for a while. He was ok. He doesn’t have the insane dribbling he had in previous versions. Don’t even think about playing him as a striker. Sorry to say it but you need a lot more than 65 pace up front.

Better hearing this now than after buying him, cheers. Reddit seems to love him at CAM.

I’d be tempted by IF Kane if he wasn’t certain for 4 more IFs and regular price drops.

He wasn’t too bad as a CAM. Swapped him out for 88 Rui Costa who wasn’t any better really. I’d much rather have Dele Alli there though since he’s a lot cheaper and ~on the same level.
 
So i tried out a few Premier League players that i got in the pack and bought some, since i normally use players from Spain and Italy. Massively disappointed with Martial as a Left winger and Rashford, they were really underwhelming. Sane, Jesus and Sterling were much better, it is not even close.
 
I've finally realised my problem. When the game starts to go against you, ye know what I'm talking about, passing goes wayward, players refuse to sprint even when holding button, cutting passing lanes stops working as your player wont intercept etc etc. The difference between myself and the players that are getting 32+ wins every week is that they can see out that EAids shite out and get the win, whereas I fecking can't.

I'm 7 from 10 so far. The 3 defeats were against oppo that was pants in comparison, I had at least a 2 goal lead in those 3 defeats, yet everything went to shit, as mentioned above.

I should be 10 from 10 dammit! :(:mad:

I loved Sane in draft and would probably get him if I didn’t have POTM Mane
 


So yeah, this is my weekend league so far. I’m up 3-1 but EA are crapping all over my face. The game is pathetic at times
 
Why would it be scripted online? Not saying it's not true but is there any proper evidence?

I have had games where it seemed nothing came off and easy chances were missed by players like RvN then some times everything comes off, and you get average players scoring worldies but why would EA introduce that? Why would they benefit from it?

I'm not saying it's scripted myself, but they are definitely trying to narrow the skill gap.
I understand why, but it's really frustrating. I'm not even that good, but I want to get better. With the semi shambles this game is, you can't play a proper game of football.
 
The one thing that pisses me off mostly is how volatile the market can be.
Bought Lukaku and Lacazette a few days ago. Ended up selling them due to wanting to try the IF Jesus. Lost 80k on them two. Bought Jesus last night (Thinking with weekend league IF packs will crash his price) and now he's already dropped 100k from what I paid pretty much, due to more pack offers.

Spend real money and get absolutely rinsed in the process :lol:

Using him ATM, he’s been no better than your average pacey striker in the few games I’ve tried, but I’ve been playing really bad overall, and is probably better than that. I’ve mainly scored goals off keeper rebounds with him.
 
I’ve always believed in momentum as a way to narrow the skill gap.

The game has such a huge swings in ease. You can be 4-0 up destroying someone, and they nick a goal, and suddenly it becomes really difficult to get out of your own half when 2 minutes before you were waltzing by the opposition players.

The biggest indicator for me was always how easy it was to win online with silver players, almost as easy higher rated teams.
 
In the right hands this is a top 100 team. In my inconsistent and "unlucky" hands (unlucky as in FIFA Aids striketh) I'll be happy with gold fecking 1. Hope I can eventually reach elite 1 as I did last year. Once. Elite 2 and 3 were usually the norm tho.

I like Morata and Vardy. Rashford was bad. Will try out Costa tomorrow. IF Zaha is double that, but i will try him out on Sunday. Morata is very good though, especially with headers
 
Conceding a stupid amount of screamers today. Pretty annoying.

Yep, hate this game today. Also Icon Shevchenko isn't that fun to use. Like he's good and has a great record, he just isn't fun to use at all for me. Just waiting for his price to go back up a bit, probably next thursday or so, and then replace him. Or might just do it before... I'll see.

Started off 6-2 but gameplay still felt a bit shit. Then I bottled a 3-0 lead, lost a few games in extra time, lost once in the 90th min, and then got hammered once but I was playing really shit because of the frustration. Now am 6-7 :lol:

I think this weekend league is one too many for me. Almost everyone now has Rashford/Martial/Dembele and I can't defend them.

The amount of goals from keeper rebounds is fecking mental. The keepers never palm anything more than 6 yards, and never into the air.
