It's stupid how if you get a free-kick near the middle of the pitch or just in your own half, your whole team piles into the box regardless of how much time is gone or the score.

I tend to just lump it out of play near their corner flag when that happens so as to avoid the counter.

Met a dude on FUT today that seems to have spent some real coin to get himself the actual United line-up (no Pogba, though). Found myself 3-0 up in no time, with this being the pick of the litter:

I make United as one of my two teams every year, got everyone except for Pogba, Zlatan and De Gea (though I could afford one of them if I sell my 2nd team and just use fitness cards).
I use a similar system while also setting the tactics to counter attack. Seems to work well. I was struggling to climb up from the bottom divisions until changing to this system lol.
What division are you in?
I always wonder if when something that was ok in a prior game changes, if its purposeful or collateral from some other change and they just couldn't figure out how to balance it back. Because corner clearances were fine last year, probably had too many going straight back to the taker, which isn't something you see that often in real life.
Was the case with me a month or so back.
I've tried it yesterday and it seems the best formation for me in FUT. It's really effective against people abusing pace as well even If my team is slow.

Played a couple of games last night and had like 65% posession and about 10 shots on target in each game (usually it's the other way round).

It's definitely Kasper. I got Williams, IF Coleman, Wanyama and Rashford in packs from sbc. The rest are not so expensive.

Got really annoyed at everyone having more or less the same team on FUT so I sold everyone, got 270k from them, and made a full ex yugoslavian squad.
Only issue is the center backs are shite, so I might just save and get 2 guys there who give good chem and are beasts. Something like Manolas and Sokratis, could get both for around 8.5k combined probably.

I find most teams I play are actually quite different. Last year it was literally the same team over and over again. At least this year there is a little bit of variety.

Is there no restrictions this week? I thought I read somewhere there has to be a minimum 3 leagues/3 Nationalities?
Change Martial to a LF and put him up top. Best player I've used in Ultimate team for under 100k (think hes like 30 anyway).
Though right now in my Yugo team I'm using in form mandzukic and hes actually a bit of a beast.
Someone fast. Pace up front is really the be all and end all of FUT. Fecking Musa is one of the most overpowered players in the game because of this nonsense.
Vardy is pretty good.
Up to division 2 on seasons. It's taken me bloody long enough. Now to try and get to the top division.
Can you not have a tournament where 4 players can play as locked players? I know you can in career mode with 2 players...

Finished Gold 2 on PC in the weekend league, one tier better than last week so i'm happy. Had a ridiculously bad start but after changing formation i managed to string a good set of results together. With this new team i'm aiming for that Elite 3 tier next week. Would be awesome to get a TOTW pack.
Played 26, won 16 so far in the WL. My target is 18 wins for this week and the two next weeks to get the get kit and monthly TOTW pack.
Picked up Vardy for £42k. Thanks for the tip, he's leathal. I'm still shit but having much more luck with him.
Think I've settled my team now, have no real motivation to improve it any further anyway.

I didn't realise how much of a difference chemistry makes. I had an injury that dropped it and the players felt completely different. Failed to make runs, caught out of positions, poor touches. Basically scripting.
With full Chem they seem to work as a unit and are quicker and more agile.
You'd be surprised how little chemistry matters sometimes. Played a team with chemistry in the 60's and he was passing rings around me while my 100 chemistry team were running in quicksand and turning like trucks.
Juventus' 3 at the back is the best formation this year. Works pretty well for United too
Anyone managed to work out how crossing works in this? Most of the time the cross either ends up directly in the keepers hands, or ends up miles away past the edge of their penalty box. So many goals missed out on with simple crosses failing to get anywhere near the target I want.
Talk about fecking bottling. 3 games left, only needed to win 1 to get Gold 1 (50k and two 100k packs).
