Just had my most annoying game on Seasons ever (Div 3). Proper United from yesterday affair.
The red card I picked up was in the 33rd minute too so played most of game against 10 men.
I wouldn't mind so much if it was against a decent keeper but Szczesny. He made 23 saves apparently.
Can anyone beat that?

I'm so unlucky with FUT packs. At the beginning after release i opened Kanté, Walker, Rooney, Vardy, IF Coleman and Ben Afra on the same week but the last month or so has ben atrocious. I get a lots of packs from doing SBC's (haven't spent real money on packs ever) but i'm just not getting anyone I know it's the same for everyone but just 10 minutes ago i opened 3 premium players pack and a prime players pack and the best i got was Torres and Villa. I probably used up my pack luck on that first week

Why am I so shit at this FIFA. I used to destroy everyone with my silver Bundesliga team or pace-whore Koreans/Belgian Pro-leagues. I'm like 20-10-20 this year :/
Because it's harder to abuse pace now, still possible but rarer. Also, everyone has epic teams now due to the insane amount of special cards.

It takes some adjusting mate. Pace isn't the way these days. It's all about patient possession play now.
One thing that annoys me is the penalties. Sometimes the arrow thing is there and sometimes it isn't. It should be one of the other!!

Well done mate. I'm in the same boat. Prepare for the complete sweat fest. I find it soooo hard to win though. I managed to hold my division twice in division 1 but can't seem to find that run of games to push for the title.

Still in it even now?Did the weekend league this week, got 18 wins with like 4 games to spare so just didn't bother playing the rest sine I wasn't going to win 4 in a row and I also was sick of it already, but got to my goal of being in gold 3 rank (and monthly bronze 1 since I didn't do it the other weeks). It's fecking hard, since most people are at a similar level and pretty good but also because Ultimate team just plays differently from the normal game and it's annoying as feck. Also coming up against the same players every week becomes pretty dull.
My flatmate's a bit shit and only had 1 attempt remaining in the week tournament, so I played it for him and got him into the weekend league...
He lost 6 games in a row before giving up on Saturday, and another 5 on Sunday
It's seriously not easy though, like I am fairly good but probably like 10-15 of my 36 games went to overtime and I only ended with a 50% win rate. Then sometimes you play someone you are better then but fifa is fecking you and they score every shot from 35 yards out, while you have like 15-20 shots and struggle to score. So fifa rewards the already best players with the best players to make them even better? Yeah, seems fair. Ridiculous.
I mean it makes sense to reward players who earned more wins with better prizes... But overall these informs are nothing more than a showcase anyway, players who finish in the Elite bracket will have more than enough coins to buy every inform available really. And in FIFA you can build really cheap teams and still be competitive, so I don't really see the issue.
Got 30k, 2 mega packs and then 1 rare players pack. Mega packs brought me feck all (decent amount of rare players, the highest sell being..... 1k coins ). Rare players pack I got Smalling though so that's not bad. Overall pretty disappointing though. Not sure who I should get for my team though. Kinda want to save for Sanchez, but I'm at 77k so I'm still like 40-50k away which will take a while considering I probably won't play much the next few weeks. Also considering on getting like Willian and Cazorla or Coutinho and someone else for 20k. Or just maybe moving away from the premier league and getting a mixed team.

Depending on who I get in my reward packs I'll most likely never play FUT Champs again. Got into Gold 3 with like 18 games remaining but it was the sweatiest FIFA I've ever played. Just not enjoyable at all! Even Div 2 seasons was a refreshing change.
On a good note though I've learned the best formation to defend against the generic pricks who go with the narrowest formations in the game - 4-3-2-1 (most popular), 4-1-2-1-2 (narrow one). I've started playing 3-5-2 against them, and just man marking the runners through the middle and they've barely got a chance. CBs just intercept the through ball if positioned correctly (which EA need to be commended for, interceptions are far better this year, players finally get rewarded for cutting off passing lanes).
Tried several legends out so far - Ole, Vieri, Larsson, Suker, Deco. Ole and Vieri weren't up to much after about 15 games each. Only had Larsson for like 3 games but he felt really good, making great off the ball runs, lack of threat from crosses is an issue though. Suker felt great as well, one of the best all round players in the game, link up play is spectacular and his dribbling and ball control are on point; will almost certainly buy him permanently for the ST position.
My latest purchase, Deco, feels amazing too. First touch and passing is sublime; perfect everytime. I bought him with the Hunter chem but ultimately want him as a Maestro as his finishing boost is wasted as CAM, but just feel dirty downgrading a 4.5k rated chem card to a 500 rated one!

Of course it works like that, they want to make money off you guys. You need to buy boosters and more packs to get better players, if you have no encouragement to make your team better and win, you won't pay extra like they want.
Sure if they wanted it to be fair, close and competitive they would spread the rewards about, but football isn't a fair game.
Anyone on XB1 play Pro Clubs? We've been Div 1 regulars since 2010 (or whenever it came out) but haven't played enough games to make it there yet!
