If you are position A, dribble in the direction the red arrow (so that you're not facing the left corner of the goal) and shoot to the far corner in the direction of the white arrow. Use a driven low shot (power up a shot and press shoot again just before you hit the ball).
If you are position B, dribble so your player facing the far right corner, as the red arrow shows. Then do the exact same as above, but hold R1/RB while you do it. Basically open up your body and do a driven finesse shot far corner.
I can personally guarantee you will never miss another shot in your entire FIFA career, unless you're shit.

If he's out for 6 months he probably won't make TOTW so it wouldn't really be worth it.

Just got a Lukaku scream card from a Gold Upgrade SBC, must be the best pull I've ever made in FIFA. Untradable but fits straight into my PL side next to Rashford, result.
I'd imagine so. Basically I played a fair few games of Pro Clubs in the first 2-3 weeks and I was finishing more or less every 1 on 1 in the exact same way. I know the FUT mechanics are generally different but if you get used to shooting the right way, I'd imagine you will score more often that not.
Just playing the mobile version on iPad (I am a sucker for card collecting games) but got a Top Transfer Kante from trading in Silver cards, boosted my deck immensely. Happy days.
I have won the draft twice so far. My most expensive player from all these packs? 2.6k. I'm convinced I am the least lucky person in the world when it comes to opening packs.
Any tips to creating chances? They've somehow made this game even more dead than Fifa 16. There's literally between 0-1 chances or goals a game.
Just messing around UT offline seasons currently. Slimani is some man for the headers. Winston Reid also for corners, both cheap enough and Winston has a little bit of pace compared to other CBs. Not tried online yet though as I'm not as yet used to controlling 11, was always a pro clubs man.
Mix stuff up, through balls with RB, through balls without RB, normal passes, driven passes, different types of crossing, double tap, triple tap etc.
Is fifa a lagfest for anyone else this year? Every other game is fine, connection is spot on, but fifa always lags a bit, last game my players wouldn't even respond for 5 seconds which led to the other lad scoring, getting quite annoying now.
That's been the case for a very long time now. It's not surprising to me. I have horrible latency against certain players and tolerable latency against others.
I just opened 2 of those rare mega packs (50k coins) and the best I got was Jeremy Menez... so yeah i might have you beat. Its close at least

Played 22 games so far on seasons. 20 wins and 2 draws but the lag is unbearable which is why I drew the other two games. So many times I want to do a skill move but the game isn't reacting to what I do on my controller. It's driving me insane.
How do you get such record? I have 33-18-28 and feel like I'm doing pretty well, division 5 now with good hope to get promoted.
The lag is crazy, after the lag has sorted itself out does it go into fast forward mode, or is that just for me? Many of games on UT it's lagged then gone into fast forward mode and the other player has took the ball off me and attacked.
Defend all game, get a jammy counter attack goal then keep the ball for the rest of the game.
Been playing Fifa for about 12-13 years now sadly haha. I've practiced all the skill moves and know them off by heart and just have a good feeling for the tendencies of the game. Most important thing for me is that I've played the game so long I know which passes will pull off and which passes wont.

The lag makes the FUT Daily Champions tournament so much harder. Ill nearly always get a game with terrible lag so they always just have to run more or less direct at my goal.

They could make UT a lot better by getting rid of the DNF multiplier. You get punished for lagging out of the EA servers.

I've noticed lag being consistently bad over the past week. It's not like FIFA tbf, their servers have been pretty clean over the past few years.

Just played a 89 rated team with Scholes, Veron, Petit, Ruud, Ronaldo, Blanc, Robben. I really hate these coin buyers with a passion. But got away with a 0-0.

Park the bus is a cnut's trick/tactic. If they aren't doing it from the very start, they do it as soon as they go 1-0 up.

I always go high pressure, then attacking or ultra attacking. Never ever go defensive or counter attack I always go for a win, a draw disappoints me.

Finished my first season in Career mode. I've struck a nice balance with that update, some slider changes and altering the difficulty depending on who I'm playing. I stick it on World Class for most top teams and Professional for most others but I still can lose or draw on Prof if I'm not playing well.
Won the PL and League Cup but couldn't be bothered with the EL so I simmed it and lost in the Semis. Got knocked out the FA Cup by Chelsea.
In Jan/the summer I've sold Mkhitaryan, Mata, Rooney, Memphis, Wilson, Young and Darmian. Ibra's contract wasn't extended and Carrick retired, scoring in his final game and lifitng the PL as Captain.
I've signed Dele Alli, Ousmane Dembele, Oliver Burke, Emre Mor, Julian Weigl and recalled Pereira and Bojack.

They were in this thread somewhere. Someone linked a site that had slider settings and I just tweaked them to my preference. Can't remember what they were.
Me, @BigDunc9 , @ha_rooney and @Marksy7 (although he just watched it!) scored one of the best team goals in Pro Clubs.
Went into full muppet mode. Bought Sanchez, Bellerin, Matuidi, and Griezmann. Lost to Bournemouth in the first game of the season, and just got knocked out of the League Cup by Cheltenham 1-0.
