Gaming FIFA 17

Bought MOTM Son, 88 Eriksen and 88 Isco with the funds I had and from selling Pogba.

Feel much better about both my sides now as normal Isco was a real weak link in my la Liga side and Eriksen and Son in a swap for Pogba and Sturridge is a no brainer.
 
What's going on with FUT tonight on PS4? I'm getting horrible wait times and disconnections on menus. Got kicked out of a game via disconnect but didn't lose the game. It's a complete mess.
 
Played my first game with Son and Eriksen before. Son bagged a goal and got an assist. Eriksen with a screamer aswell. Liking this new side and the Mrs is away all weekend so I can hibernate and try and get elite 3 for the first time.

Yeah for what Pogba was offering me Eriksen offers the same offensively and Son shits on Sturridge although he doesn't feel as quick.

Arent you d3 too? How are you gold 1 on WL and only d3? I can hold d1 pretty comfortably but can never get past gold 2 (at best)

I got up to div 1 last week after going 7 and 1 in both div 3 and div 2 right after, then on the weekend I fecked up my last 4 games and ended gold 2. Needed 2 wins from my last 4, only got the 1. Haven't played any games division 1 yet though.

I think I'm just inconsistent as feck. I think if I played my last 4 games on the sunday instead of stopping when I needed 2, I would've got it, but I played like shit on the monday. Sunday a few people messaged me after, said they were all elite/gold 1 players but still I was on a great run. Just like in the first day, in the morning I started off really good, then went to class, had a football match (where I got a mini concussion I think) and then after that I couldn't focus and played like shit that night.

Anyway, I did get a decent amount of lucky wins where I had a big smash and grab. Would restrict the guy to long range shots and then score a late header through Icardi or messi would get a nice finish. Those 2 saved me loads of times.

Not sure, think around 300ish wins, 30ish draws and 250ish losses? Before last week it was around 50% win rate, went up a lot when I spunked almost all my coins on Messi. Thinking of selling him and getting TIF mertens or Hazards striker in form though. Might do it after this month as I usually get bored of teams

Never attempting to invest in players ever again. Bought OTW Depay before it was announced he would be in TOTW and then as soon as it was officially announced the prices dropped. I lost almost 40k!
 
Reckon I should save my 3 IF's pack for next week since the TOTW is largely garbage? Dunno if I have the patience to wait though

Dont sell when the team is released, but early and sell on hype on the saturday-monday before the TOTW when everyone is speculating. Once the team is announced all the investors are undercutting each other

Every now and then it works differently though. I remember I bought 2 or 3 of the OTW Mane's the morning before the TOTW and he shot up by like 60k once it was officially announced, and then another 50k or so when his card was upgraded.

I was gutted to find out my OTW Kante doesn't get a boost from that MOTM card.

I bought a tonne of Coleman's last weekend at 1.7k a pop... Going to wait til the 10k cap hopefully gets lifted and make a fortune. Considering selling my 86 Coleman this weekend too and get TOTW Azpilicueta for CB. I bought that Coleman for 60k after the post EPL WL Price crash so if I can get 200k+ for it I'll be well happy. I think vanilla Walker is probably better anyway.
 
So I accidently opened my IF pack after spamming redeem item for the stupid pots of gold items. Ended up getting David Villa who goes for like 30k, Quintero who goes for like 14k... and Emre Can who's about 300k :lol: Can't complain.
 
Gold 1 rewards were okay. Got a Hoolahan Irish card, Yaya and some other 5k ish players so sold them all.

Means I could afford the 86 Memphis. Thought I'd make use of a monthly reward item. So this for the weekend.

Got some in form who sold for 13k, the irish mcgeady card who sold for 20k, smalling who goes for 11k or whatever that was noteworthy from my rewards. Usually I get like 40k from my packs for Gold 2 so I basically got 30k more then normal which is nice, after everyone else sells. Nothing amazing but not awful at least.

Yeah that sucks but at least he'll get an even better IF on the next upgrade. He's too good right now so won't be surprised if he gets one more before the season ends.

Just did the Mega St Paddys SBC, reward is between 30k-150k. I get 31k which is a 20k loss and an hour of my time :mad:

Idk then. All my investments I either sell on hype, or wait for thebsecond WL after they are out of packs for their prices to rise (seems to work). I use them until I plan to sell them, but made 20k on Alonso's LB and 25k on Van Aanholt last night too.

I'm going all out sweat for this WL. Sold Sanchez, Van Aanholt and De Gea, replaced them with Shaw, Aguero and Courtois (100k cheaper than De Gea). Also got Hazard to replace Martial (no reason other than I wanted Hazard). Going 4321 and just gonna park the bus, and use Hazard, Aguero and 82 Mane on the counter

On a nicer note, my MM SBC Rare Players pack had IF Emre Can and SPD Shane Long which should net me around 350k :D IF Azpilicueta CB and IF Walker to replace Koscielny(Or Smalling) and IF Stones here I come. Think that will only leave Courtois as my only vanilla First XI player.

I packed MOTM Tolisso and sold him to buy Bale. Now realising Bale is dogshit when played upfront but haven't got the coins to buy a IF Carrasco and move back to 433 :rolleyes:

I have no clue what Alaba is doing. Twirling for the circus or something. One of the worst goals I've conceded all year. So dumb how stuff like that can happen out of nowhere.
 
Think I might change my team up after this weekend. Not a huge change, might get rid of Messi and get in the 88 or 89 Mertens though because everyone wanks over that card (also stat wise he's better then Messi despite not being 93 overall). That way I could get Dybala to make my front 3 Dybala, TIF Mertens, TIF Icardi instead of normal messi and normal mertens. Probably better overall.

Absolute joke, that's a bit like what happened to me which I mentioned on here a few weeks ago. It's basically where the code changes state from "in possession" to "not in possession" when it clearly shouldn't. When you're in possession L2 shields the ball, when you're not it jockeys which is what I'm assuming you did there?

For me, I had control of the ball in a benign situation on the edge of the area and pressed square to clear it and my defender suddenly did a slide tackle instead of clearing it and mildly touched one of his players. Penalty of course.

That's true. That can occur.

But I only ended up pressing X to pass out and go on a counter. That's why I was so confused when it happened. I feel like even if I tried to clear, he still would have done that thing. I was just destined to lose. Player completely glitched out. Frostbite engine has so many damn glitches and bugs. Can only hope it's resolved for FIFA 18.

You wont regret it. I always feel like i can score 3 or four with 88 Mertens, 88 Icardi and 85 Dybala.

Id only change either player for a better IF of themselves.
