I've been pants this weekend. I fail to come up with anything creative and I'm so predictable. 14-6 atm. The worst thing is, every team bar maybe one, have been bang average. I have like, the FIFA equivalent of writers block.

10 for 3, new team is looking good, took a wee while to get used to Icardi but now I think he's unreal, Gomez is rapid and tricksy but I feel just too weak.
Not sold on Brosovic at CAM, think I'll save for Mertens there.

After sucking out loud for the first 15 games I've picked up a bit of steam. Was 7-8 after struggling with input delay and my own frustrations, but I've picked up five wins on the trot to put myself at 12-8 at the half way stage. This weekend is ruined already and I won't have time to finish all 40 games anyway, so the goal is just to secure Gold 3 so I don't have to spend time with qualifying next week, when I actually have a lot of time to play.
You can really tell if EA are bumming you when no matter how many interceptions you make, the ball bobbles back to their players.

8 wins and 2 losses today, after being 7 and 7 yesterday. Inconsistent as hell. Gold 1 would be great to get, but I need 10 wins and 6 losses for that, so might not get it as I fully expect to go on a losing streak tomorrow after my current good run. So probably gold 2 again, though I doubt i'll be scrapping for it like usual. Probably will just end up missing out on gold 1.
Finished 26-14 was playing like crap. Somehow managed to beat the majority of the Ronaldo teams though. The last guy I played had a super team and even when I went 0-1 down I fought hard back to win 2-1 and the guy was hacking me down every chance he got. Pathetic.
Lads do you have any recommendations for keepers? I've lost patience with De Gea. At least on five occasions this weekend he spilled the ball or palmed weak shots into his own goal! I have Hierro and Smalling Centre back and rotate Umtiti with Smalling for fitness.

Way too sluggish mate similar to Kane. Nice looking stats but that don't mean jack when the players runs like they have a piano on their backs.
Yeah that's what worries me, 84 pace and 92 dribbling but not sure it translates, play against his IFs all the time and they never really worry me.
Should probably just save the extra couple hundred K for Mertens.

I'm not sure if I can go back to a team without TIF Icardi in it again. Only 80k and he's the best striker I've used. Have one half laliga, half prem team and the other is mostly calcioA but with messi and a midfielder and right back for chem, but Icardi easily feels like my most important player and whenever I use my prem team, im missing that type of player up top. Hes onlike 36 goals in 32 games, and has another 12 assists or so. Messi my next best with something like 45 goals and 35 assists in 60ish games. Those 2 are the only ones Ive had who are more productive then a goal/assist per game, everyone else is at best, close to 1, but usually well under.
Pogba has been a lot better at CAM but I still kinda wish he was tradable, as I wouldnt be forced to use a prem team then. Plus I would have the coins. Ah well.

He just scored a 9 minute hat trick against Atlanta, so he could get even better.
Agree though, expected him to be too cumbersome for my liking but his finishing is just unbelievable, always in the right place and strong too.
I finished the POTM Kane this morning. I've played 3 games and he's bagged 9 goals (a hattrick each game, 2 were pens) but he's brilliant.
He's up there with as one of the best strikers I've used this year and I've used them all, he's got very noticeable pace upgrade and his shooting is up there with SBC Suarez for power and accuracy, great passing and heading too. Considering he cost me about 200k he's more than worth it.

His agility and balance is actually really good, plus 99 jumping and heading, good pace, really strong and great shot. Perfect target man.
Hopefully he gets a 4th. Though banega got a hat trick and 2 assists in that game, do ea ever give 2 in forms from the same team? That 4th in form would be a must for me.
Was 37-0 and missed 2 sitters in 1 game and lost 3-2. Disappointed, because I would have been 1st weekly on all platforms with my high skill rating.

At what point do games start getting difficult for you? Do you breeze through the first like 30 games easily?

This week games 22-27 were my toughest. And then 2 of the last 3 were difficult as well.
Had the most annoying loss. Hammered this guy, like 20 shots to 3. His only goal was one of those near post corners that hit the post and sqieezed in, while my shots just wouldnt go in, even the normal cross shot finishes. Mustve hit the post 3 times with them in the game. 16 wins and 10 losses though which is still good for me! Need 9 wins and 5 losses in my last 14 for gold 1, possible, might not get it though.
Finished on 29, 1 DC loss as well. Won 7 in a row to get Elite including beating a T100 player with a ridiculous TOTY team. Lost my final game to Schalke's e-sport player S04 Mario in extra time

Can't believe the last 3 losses I've had. Played so shite but still should've won them, gave away the dumbest goals and had no composure in the finish. Ffs.
Tried to do that potm Kane earlier and the prices on alli are a joke. I'll try and do it on the final day possibly but for now it's not worth it as I've already got 88 Kane. Got 170k in the bank and still need to buy an upgrade to Sturridge!

Yeah that's how I usually make elite monthly. Missed the first weekend this month and didn't play a single game so would have to go on a crazy run to get it now :-/
Yeah im never going to try to do a full month again.. need 2 more wins from my next 4 games for gold 1. Doubt I can keep this up the entire month, but gold 1 monthly would still be pretty good. Was my expectation going into it anyway.
Gold 1 and gold 3 monthly are the same rewards. Got me elite monthly rewards last week and they were gash. Got Gabbiadini but haven't used him yet as he isn't as quick as Sturridge and with TIF Kane as the CAM I need a pacy striker
Thought I heard there was a better chance for a better player or something if you had a higher rank like gold 1 instead of gold 3. Pretty shit otherwise. If i do shit next weekend then ill probably stop at Gold 3 then.
fecking shite. Last 4 games i needed 2 wins and I ended up with just the 1. All 4 of the people I played had at least 2 red in forms in their teams... feck this matchmaking. Definitely shouldve got gold 1 this weekend. Frustrating as feck that I ended on 24 wins. Ah well. Guess there isnt a huge difference in rewards between gold 2 and 1, not like you ever get anything good from the 24 player packs anyway.
Sometimes id rather watch LvG football than play this game. The amount gameplay changes does my head in you never know which game your picking up, last 5 games I've had so much dodgy stuff happen it's unbelievable.

Somehow managed to reach 25 wins with 1 game to spare. Think I needed 6 wins from my last 8. Played absolutely terribly this week and I really need to look somewhere on how to defend. If anyone can point me in the direction of a pro streaming or a full length video of them in game I'd appreciate it.

Playing a lot, playing vs good players. You get better. Plus, sometimes you're just good at something haha.
Your concentration levels must be insanely good. I will be switched on for five odd games then my focus drops a little.
Had some seriously BS goals against me last night. Muller hit one from about 35 yards, hit the bar came out and hit my goalie on the back.. went back into the goal
Had another game where no matter what I did I just couldn't score. Keeper even saved a point blank header from 5 yards.
Oh and my Schmeichel decided to let a shot right at his hands slip through and drop into the net. Ended up staying in division 3 with 2 draws in a row instead of the 1 win I needed. Ugh so frustrating.

Stopped at gold 2 yesterday. Had like 7 games left to reach gold 1 but I just really couldn't be bothered with the game.

I'm back to the 4-1-2-1-2 formation after playing with the 4-3-3 formation because, for whatever reason, it just wasn't working. That seems to happen often, like, I was playing shit about a month ago using the 4-1-2-1-2, then switched to 4-3-3, ended getting elite 1, then the following week elite 2, this week, I could only manage gold 1.
Switched back to the 4-1-2-1-2 last night and won div 1 with ease. I also bought a few more players. NIF Manolas, IF Joao Mario and SIF Brozovic. All three have been good to use.

Anyone used the 85 Memphis? Is he much better than NIF Martial. It would be to play up front and his physical stat is tempting me to get him.
