Gaming Fifa 10

Just started playing this got a few questions.

If I'm winning and the other guy disconnects what does that count as?

Do you have to download the new squads everytime you play online? Also does anyone else get the "the game session is no longer available" message?

Why does the game make my defenders run at the attacker like a spastic when I want them to stay back? Irritating. Won the game 2 - 1 but still gave the weirdo a chance to do a cocky celebration. Yeah I know, for losing :wenger:

Is anyone playing the champions of gaming thing where the top 10 from each region qualify each week?

I finally snuck into the top 10 for Asia (although i think its just english speaking Asia) and will have a big night of gaming sunday night to make sure i stay there monday.
 
ive recently been editing the teams a bit to play unranked games, i find it quite fun..

liverpool with owen fowler berger and kewell
arsenal - pires, viera, henry, cambell and cole think wiltord still plays ?
 
I play this guy who picks Celtic, I pick Rangers. Starting line-ups, mine, fine. Celtic - Ronaldo, Messi, Gerrard, Torres, Vidic, etc... so I leave the game. I get this message:

"** a wanker ** were gna get humped anyway"

I reply "Yeah, with your team of 'Celtic' players?"

"Yeah ** just jealouse m8"

"Of what?"

"me would have humped u"

"How about you don't cheat adding world class players?"

"ok u twat"

Why do people like this exist? I hate them so much :mad: I wish I could punch people through the screen.

I just sent this back, "You're a spastic, you have to make your own team of World Class players because you're too shit to play with normal ones? I mean Celtic are shit but still, grow up. Blocking you now so any reply you send won't work, haha you soppy cnut. Try using a normal team next time instead of cheating, retard"

Ought to annoy him that he can't reply to that.
 
Just played a guy who, not content with the current galacitco Real Madrid team, decided to edit them further, adding the likes of Messi and Arshavin, bloody hell.
 
Why does Malouda constantly cross with his right foot on this? The fecking pleb.
 
I've got only one problem with United on FIFA.

Owen/Berbatov. Owen's quick gets in good positions but his shooting is pretty poor, especially from range when a defender is catching up. Awful outside of the boot etc.

Berbatov has excellent shots and finishing but is too slow and can be caught up when through on goal.

If only I could combine both!

If you had the time then you could do a whole Classic United team using Gamerface.
 
If you were to pick at dream XI in FIFA10, which players would you pick in a 4-4-2 based on player ratings?
 
Which of these two teams do you reckon is the strongest in FIFA10, ie. which of these two options would you go for if you played games for €10 each (win). Arguments would be useful too

Good to hear, that's my team.. although he claims I'm vunerable without a proper DM. We're pretty even so I'm guessing individual performances will be deciding, I have more of those players capable of producing it.

Kaka playing as a CAM Ronaldo and Messi RW/LW with Gerrard and Xavi as LCM and RCM

Kaka can swap with Gerrard as well for a better ariel threat but you should be ok with just Torres for that.
 
Messi is shite and useless in this game, had to sub him off for Ribery all the time, who is much better.
 
Been playing this game mostly offline with a buddy of mine. We played through a Premiership season, he with Tottenham and me with United (and then we each played as the opposition every match).

I didn't really get the hang of it until halfway through the season, so I ended up second and he won with a few points (10 or so I think). Berbatov and Rooney are ace together in the game, just play Rooney up top and Berba in the hole where you don't really depend on pace. He was the top scorer with almost 50 goals, over half of my total!

It was extremely annoying that Rooney got injured constantly though, and I only had him available for about half the games. Owen is just crap, as soon as someone get within two meters of him he just drops the ball.

Edit: Here's a goal I "accidentally" scored with Berbatov. Chip from a pretty difficult angle. I wish we had uploaded one I scored pretty much directly from the kick off. One back pass, facked a shot facing my own goal and two defenders just flew past, and then I beat the last defender and lobbed the goalie. Best goal I've ever seen tbh!

Lobbing the keepers pretty easy though on this one. Berbagoal <<<<<<<<< Cheeky 40 yarder against my mate.

Yeah you're right. The reason we saved that goal was just the angle and that it wasn't what I was trying to do at all.

And that's a pretty sweet goal, never would have thought to try scoring from way out there. I think the longest distance I've scored from is about 20 meters. Was just a lucky shot with Carrick.

Yeah not taking anything away from the goal it's not that easy from that sort of angle. I find the keepers come off their line way too much (thought it was supposed to be fixed with a patch?). Too often I'm frantically trying to find the back peddle button because my mates broke through my stupidly high defensive line (despite my tactics telling them to do otherwise) and my keepers stood about 10 yards away from the goal before he even starts rushing the striker. Grrrr

As for the Berbagoal, I was comfortably winning and always go for wonder goals anyway so found myself in a bit of space and went for it! Was pretty shocked when it hit the back of the net!
