In that second game (I think?), there was an incredible amount of unbelievably jammy goals. At least two of mine were instances where the ball almost literally dropped into the feet of my striker, in front of goal :lol:
 
I've run into a bug in my BAP, I got sent off as a defender one game, simulated the next (suspension) and for the third game I was put on the bench as a captain, when I try to put myself in the starting XI in team management i get this error: "Your manager wants you in the starting XI, you can't sub yourself off".. well, I'm not even in the fecking XI!!
 
Yeah the Marseille game. I gave you all 3 of your goals, I just kept trying to play out of defence like a spastic instead of twatting it down the pitch.

and theres always the fun of maximising your teams quality to ensure more wins.

but i need some recommendations from yourselves for players that provide more bang for your buck. So please, bless me with your wisdom and experience for finding players that compete well above their given rating!
 
What is the classic team like on this?
Is it the same wierd line-up as before?
 
Just scored a stunning 40 yard low drive with Sully Muntari online.
 
I think I just had one of my most satisfying online games ever. Consider this scenario, try to imagine it actually happening.

United vs Liverpool at Anfield, cup game (as long as it has extra time, make it the CL final if you will :D). Liverpool take the lead, Berbatov equalizes in the 58th minute. Close game, lots of chances, and it eventually goes to extra time. Then Torres scores another after only 2 minutes of extra time. Another few chances are wasted, and finally Fergie throws on Owen for the second extra half. Owen scores the equalizer 4 minutes after he came on, in the 109th minute. And then he scores the winner, in the 120th minute, on the counter after a Liverpool attack.

Christ, it felt good :lol:
 
I just had another! Almost as satisfying, but for different reasons. I was playing against Barcelona, and I took the lead after he let Rooney literally run into the keeper, and push both him and ball into the net. Then he equalized, and all was still well. And then he took the lead in the 75th minute, and he really got on my nerves. He let the whole celebration run its course, doing the hand to the ear and others, and then he watched the whole "cut-scene celebration", before topping it off by watching the entire replay of his mediocre goal.

So I threw Owen on..

Can you guess where this is going? Probably not, because in the attack that came when I had the ball and went to make the changes, Rooney got on a counter and scored. And then Owen came on...

And Berbatov made it 3-2 in the 90th minute.
 
What formation do you play nimic that you have Rooney, Owen and Berbatov ALL on at once?

Tbh, I struggle with deciding to choose between Owen and Berbatov to start with. Berbatov's got much better strength and technical ability in shooting from tight angles and when he's got a defender shoulder barging him or applying pressure..

but on the hand, Owen is really good at finding space and getting in good positions, which is realistic and understandable seeing his positioning is 91..

I play the standard formation, with the standard players (or alternatively Anderson on for Fletcher). But when I have to get a goal I put Owen on for Valencia and stick Rooney on the right (or for Nani). And then I swap Owen and Berbatov's positions.

I definitely prefer Berbatov over Owen regularly. He's great to put high balls to. Owen is great when you need a goal and everyone else is tired.
