few things thats recently happened to me

my player has done a John Terry a couple of times and slipped when taking a shot. One hit the post like him too but mine went in, the other just trickled past the keeper.

Also I got a yellow card for a player running into mine even though it was nothing to do with me

One thing I like doing recently is when the ref stops the game for whatever reason I try and slide tackle someone just after see if I can bring them down, managed to hit the ref once
 
It's literally impossible to have a proper game in the rain.
 
Anyone have this problem where your keeper comes out every time for one on ones? I don't even press the Y button. I'm about to put off the opposition striker with my defender but the keeper comes out and is easily lobbed.
 
Just scored 2 goals in injury time at OT to win 2-1, Owen getting the winner after coming on as a sub. Realism!

Online and Single Player are 2 completely different games. I've been playing single player most of the weekend, yesterday and today and i thought i'd have a game online and it's like playing 2 different games altogether. Passing suddenly becomes extremely unpredictable, players seem extremely sluggish, it seems to take miles longer to get a ball controlled and either pass or shoot. They don't even feel similar. Weird.

I found this too, which put me off online altogether. I have a great Internet connection as well so can't be that. The game just doesn't feel right online. Feels like a beta version or something where everythings a little bit shitter.
 
I just played a game completely free of lag, and it was glorious. Suddenly it all came together. My moves were great. I'm a bit disappointed that my opponent left after I scored the 2-0 goal, but what a goal it was. At least 4-5 players involved in the opponents half, several times, backheels, finishing with a shot from the edge of the area that went sweetly into the back of the net between the bar and the post.

It was marvelous. And I hate the fact that it's not possible to save goals online, though I understand why.
 
I've never had problems with online lag:S

As for single player, I can't remember when I've played single player the last time on FIFA..I either play online or 2 player vs my brother. Playing single player against the computer = boring..
 
There was lag in the first week of release which is always the case but there's NONE when I play now.

Me and a friend always play 2v2 via Live and it's spectacular, some of the football we play with Barcelona is so beautiful (seeing as everyone else choose Real Madrid or Liverpool, we love battering them with Barca!)

I'm the same but i need to play some SP to get my virtual pro half decent for when i play clubs online.

fecking thing keeps telling me I've not got a full squad for my next match and when I check the management screen my team is fine.
 
Well that's just ruined my manager mode, great. 2 seasons on it blooding through the youngsters and a spastic glitch has made me have to forfeit all my games despite my squad being fine. Not playing MM again until I know everythings fixed. What a stupid glitch.

im somehow up to 96 ability in central midfield. rocking it up for Real Madrid in my final season of Be A Pro: Seasons (started off playing for Cheltenham Town).

You can tell it's half term in parts of the UK. Online is full of even more morons than usual.

I can't believe I needed an 86th minute winner in that game :lol:

I would have probably slit my wrists if you scored then. To be frank, you came pretty close, with hitting the post and all that.

Not to mention the fact that when I finally got a goal, it was mostly down to luck. :lol:

It was heading for a draw, and rightly so too, and then the FIFA Goalkeeper AI strikes again. Also how you weren't sent off for a blatant last man hack on Defoe who was clean through I'll never know. Granted i would have missed but that's besides the point! :lol:

Add Modric and Defoe missing from point blank range from Lennon crosses too that too!

That was definitely a red card, and I knew that (or thought I did :lol:) as I made the challenge. All hail FIFA Refs :D

At half time, you had 1 shot, 0 on target, and I had 11, 9 on target. Your keeper played a blinder, right up until the point where he practically gave me the goal in the end. It was a good match, though. Lennon was a right handful, and I can't remember the last time someone gave me that much trouble with crosses.

To be honest i noticed you did have a lot of shots but there was only one occasion where i thought i was lucky to get away with not conceding and that's when Gomez made that stunning double save.

I got much better in the second half and i don't know how i only had 1 shot in the first half when i hit the post from that free-kick and in the very first minutes of the game Lennon crossed for Modric who, inexplicably, didnt even hit the target from 7 yards out. Summat going on with what registers as a shot there it seems :lol:
 
Take away the smileys between NiMic and cw and they're having a good old rant about their match. I suspect they are only being put there to make the posts seem light-hearted :p

I'm playing some cnut online, they're Real Madrid (surprise, surprise) and I'm United...

They go 3-0 up within 60 minutes. Berbatov pulls one back, Vidic pops up with a header, Valencia makes it 3-3, and then in the 90th minute Berbatov makes it 4-3 to me!
You probably have guessed what happens next... That's right, the fecker quits... In the 90th minute... Fair enough, you're mad, but if you're in the 90th minute at least have the decency to finish the fecking match... Really hate this game sometimes.
