..Yeah was playing for a while with my brother..lol.I think he told me he played vs you yesterday, and think he beat you once, and the next game our router disconnected him from the game..
I've found a fantastic way to simulate my real life five a side experience - so much so that me and a mate have nicknamed it Eiffel Tower mode.
What you do is assemble a super team of all the game's best players (ie transfer Messi, Puyol, Xavi, Eto'o, Cronaldo, etc to one club using Club Transfers), set that club as your arena club, and play a small sided match, controlling the generic other team.
Watch as they skip past you with ease, as you try to make do with the turning circle of the titanic. Watch as they run you down and get the ball back, even though you've got a 20 metre headstart. Watch as they score double digits. My 5 a side experience.

Are you sure it isn't your connection? I've played 30 ranked games since it came out, 20 unranked and about 10 with the Redcafe United team without lagging or disconnecting once.
I've lagged a bit, but I haven't disconnected.
Nah it's not my connection because otherwise I'd be disconnected from the PSN Network as well but that isn't happening, just with the EA Servers.

I've just listened to my voice on xbox live and I sound nothing like that. I sound really nasally and geeky.
Just played some utter rat. Went City, so I went United. Went 1-0 up and I didn't celebrate or watch the replay just skipped to kick off. He jams his way through and goes 1-1 with Adebayor and celebrates for as long as possible by shhhhing me and watching the replays. Two quick goals from me which I shhhhh him back for as long as possible and robot dance then watch the replays. The cnut then leaves after the 3rd goal and I send him a message saying SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. So much sweet satisfaction.
Cool, good games. My first online so I was really rusty, and my connection is pretty bad. You raped me that first game but I somehow hung on after El Hadj played a blinder!

Pretty tragic. The guy clearly recognises the problems with loose balls and the keepers reaction to them but it really doesn't look improved at all in FIFA 10.

I'm level 16 with 2002 points now, just had an epic finish to a game against chelsea.
87th minute: drogba makes it 2-1 chelsea
88/89th: Van der Sar heads up for a corner after I have gone ultra offensive, the chelsea guy wins the ball and breaks on me - he's clean through towards the gaping net and is just about to score from distance as Pat Evra murders him and receive a red card, Solskjaer-style
90th min: I win the ball after the freekick and break with Rooney, fake shot a defender and burst the net from the edge of the box, cue sssssh celebration !

I don't get the infactuation with celebrations at all. I just make my guy do a finish at that's it. Usually punch the air and that'll do, these people who run full length of the pitch and then watch replays of tap ins piss me off no end.
It's been only 6 days (in North America) since the game's been out, and I've not played it that much..But some of the improvements I've noticed are just amazing, most of them I had noticed in the demo itself, but I still can't get some of the UNREASONABLE moaning people do about it..
Like in the PES v FIFA thread, just pasting the massive massive improvements in gameplay I feel FIFA has made this year..
Fifa's improved immensely on the physical aspect of the game.
the midfield tussles for 50-50s...People actually getting freekicks for obstructions...The player AIs in the through balls I see as a massive massive difference, now through balls are actually hit in the direction of the player's path and are much better. Small things like remember how players used to control chipped through balls in 09, now they've got the animation where players actually use the head to push the ball ahead of them to try and not lose out on the pace. The way you finish is so much better and more realistic now. No more can you just use finesse shot into the far post for finishing, things like your angle, the power you use all come into play now. I mean you can actually finish with low shots which are impossible to save. If you've got enough power on the shot, keepers might actually get beaten on their near post. The skill dribbling addition. The fact that you can go around defenders by poking the ball past them and go the other way (bridge move or whatever they call it,) dummy shots on 1 on 1s to go past the keeper (and it actually works unlike 09,) Long range shots and cross field passes when you want to switch the play from flanks travel so much harder and faster unlike the baloony aspect they had in 09..Quick free kicks...the option to hit low freekicks UNDER the wall.
You notice a LOT of all the stuff I've mentioned above, and it helps so so much.

Managed to get my reputation up to 1 and a half stars. Then I got knocked out of the FA Cup after simulating what I thought would have been an easy win. After that I beat Fulham 6 - 0 and after checking my reputation have noticed the simulated loss made me lose 27 reputation points and go back to being half a star. Great.

I just cannot beat Chelsea away from home on World Class, ever. I try everything but theres always one point in the match where they'll become immense, perfect passing, perfect dribbling, perfect movement, perfect tackling, etc... and they'll just score what I like to call an auto-goal. Set up quite defensively against them and was playing quite well, stifling the midfield, suddenly John Terry plays a stunning ball to Anelka who takes one touch and smashes into the bottom corner with his left foot from 25 yards. Happens every game, they'll defend like spartans and will always get the one goal needed.
