Was on legendary and computer scored against me with a cross from the left wing near to the corner flag and it went in. What the feck.

Definitely. I'll be online all day, though I probably won't see it if you ask for a game on Live, as I'll have my monitor switched to DVI for the PC most of the time. Just give me a heads up here, though :p
 
Think ill play Be a Pro to death this weekend, try to finish my bloke off as a striker, then move him to CM and work on his defensive stats as well.

Played 3 games last night as pro championship, got MOTM in all 3, scored a goal in each. Lost 2. Some people are just such twats when playing. Like a swarm off horny teenages following some porn around the pitch, all 7 of them, then realising - o shit, I am supposed to be a defender. Idiots.

Annoying little things though. I don't remember that ever happening to me in 09. Surely they should be moving forwards rather than backwards in that case.
 
I am finally up to 50% completetion on the accomplishments, took me ages to get up from 40% as I havent had much time to work on him. Think overall rating he is about an 81 now, so I have put him in my full United team on manager mode, and can play that too without having to overly compensate for his.. um.. non amazingness.

Not really in the mood to play 1-on-1's today niMic. I'll be playing clubs later.
 
I just played my first person who didn't quit. And he was probably one of the worst yet. I won the shots on goal statistic by 13 to 1. And yet, he kept going. I'm almost impressed, after all the shit I've seen :lol:
 
If you don't quit yourself you can search for people who've completed at least 90% of their matches, go to the first one on the right in the 'head to head' screen. They're still ranked as well, I hardly ever have anyone quit on me by using this.
 
I find no challenge online, have won 9 of 9 games in head to head mode thus far.
 
I'm on a good streak, in two ways. I've just played my third match in a row where the opponent took it to the end. The most recent one was a cracking game, which was decided in extra time. Also, I've won the 10 first matches. Most over very poor players, but I'm actually almost proud of a couple of them. I love those matches, and hopefully I'll have more of them even if it costs me a defeat here and there.

I think I just saw the best goal ever scored on FIFA10. It was a thing of beauty. And it was my opponent who scored it. It was a close game, though I lead 2-0 with the game drawing to a close. Then my keeper had ran a bit and cleared the ball, which bounced by a couple of players until it ended up with one of his players just a few yards from the center of the pitch. By all rights, he shouldn't even have tried to take on a shot from there, as my keeper had certainly gotten the time to move back to goal by that point. But he did. And it flew like a rocket towards goal, hit the left post just below the bar, and went in.

We both stood and watched in awe. I won, but I don't think he cared at that point :lol:

Of course, it's not possible to save goals made online, which was a real shame in that case.
 
Well, that was frustrating! I couldn't get anything to work, and you pulled off stupendous pass after stu-fecking-pendous pass. I have no idea how you managed to get them on target.
 
Yeah I'm on level 15 now and people never quit. They're also much better now, I still win 2/3 games usually but only marginally.

I swear though, bar the odd moment of magic from people, I only seem to concede goals due to retarded AI by my defense or keeper, it's insanely frustrating at times.
 
Whilst playing Blackburn, Andy Gray has just told me that they are making great progress under Mark Hughes....thats interesting
 
I'm also getting sick of Andy Gray telling me that he had a 'chance to join United' after he left Watford..."when Ron Atkinson was manager, but he (being Racist Ron) decided against it"...so actually Andy, you never really had a chance at all...we didn't want you. Now feck off and stop jabbering about it
 
it's never fluke with Giggs...I've just realized it was on Pro though which is a little disappointing...I wondered why I was winning every game pretty easily! Still...doesn't affect my brilliant free kick abilities
