Or even exhibition matches as well Domzi. You basically improve by doing, the only bad thing is attributes like pace seem to be more down to the amount of games you've played.

And don't bother with gameface at the moment, it's down anyway. But it takes forever and it's not worth the hassle at the moment. I might give it another go later on but right now it's not worth it.
 
My Virtual Pro is growing well. I've done most of those that don't involve playing X games and doing it X times. He's certainly a lot better than last night. Whether that means I'll play any better...
 
My flu has given me the opportunity to get my bloke up to about an 80 now, 46% completion on the accomplishments.
 
So i've just had my first 2 online games. In both the opposition quit without even reaching half time! :lol:

In the first game i was United, he was City. I had all the play and missed 5 one on ones but finally got one around 30mins in. He then quit. At 1-0 ffs!!

2nd game saw me come up against Barcelona. His game plan was simple, pass to Messi and try to skin my left back. Errrr that's Patrice Evra dick 'ed. I don't think so. I went 3-0 in the first 25mins and he quit :lol:

At the moment i don't find one-on-one as enjoyable as 09. I don't know why exactly, i can't quite put my finger on it. We'll see though.
 
Yeah. The one on one is bollocks. The atrocious keeping just kills the game for me. I still think Fifa 09 was a better game.. :/
 
My virtual pro has 22 goals in 18 games for my club ( all controlled by myself, obviously.) I expect the bidding war to start any time soon....
 
The Internet is alight with complaints regarding the manager mode. A whole shit storm of abuse towards EA is happening right now. If the majority of the issues aren't fixed with a patch then I won't be buying FIFA 10. fecking disgraceful.

I made a pro and started a BAP season - playing for Perth Glory because that's much more realistic than me playing for United (just like aliens coming from the moon is much more realisted than aliens coming from venus).

That and it allows me to play Chelsea Dagger with cause every time we score (at home anyway)
 
Gameplay is fantastic, the best I've played since PES6 (PS2). Everything else is complete shite. The game is full of bugs, and the AI is more superhuman than ever. I don't play online, but I've read that it's crap, full of cheating Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime and the usual bugs when people disconnect etc.

It's more like Fifa 10 Beta. There's no chance everything will be sorted out by patches either, they'll only fix certain things and keep us waiting until Fifa 11 - Money grabbing bastards.
 
the bugs are killing the game, this is a shame because the gameplay is fantastic, we need a patch for it urgently but even a patch might not be able to fix all of this
 
So glad i only paid £25 for this. That is probably how much it is worth. Its just not finished. Is it time to accept that decent games can't be developed over a single year, these days?

Knowing EA they'll probably release a bug free version in time for the world cup, and sell it as a new game with a full price tag.

In fact, this will definitely happen.
 
I'm not really arsed about all the bugs in manager mode. As long as the MP is thoroughly enjoyable to play i'm happy because that's the only decent part of the game anyway.

Why do i keep losing my connection to the EA servers. I'm still connected to the Playstation Network but for some reason it keeps cutting.
 
Finally had a go at this round my mates today(I'm a pro evo nut).. some of the gameplay was fecking sublime (passing, movement..closing down) but the shooting is woeful.. you just don't get any feeling when you shoot, seems to be random.. does it improve once you get better at the game?

Another thing, I want an unbiased opinion with regards to the various bugs etc are you guys just being fussy or is the fifa game really unplayable?

Be honest guys, I don't want to fork out on a pile of shit.
 
Just lost to some guy online that I dominated for 90 minutes, missed countless chances and conceded in stoppage time, then lost on penalties :rolleyes:
