The fact that there are so many rumours of big clubs bulking at his ridiculous salary demands worries me. The guy trurly believed in his hype and it seemed that reality has now started to kick in

Im very worried now, it looked like he was gone but has shot himself in the foot being an absolute tool. Im dreading the photo of him with Ed and the contract 'delighted to announce' etc. That wont go down well at all
I have feelings he will end up renewing with us . He didn't accept our offer because he tried to find a better money elsewhere. Now he gets his reality check that nobody else willing to pay his demand , he will be forced to accept whatever offer we gave to him. Hopefully we pay him penny and only 1 year extension just like everyone in their 30s.I rate him but he should only be used in the last 10 minutes or in local cup games.

Fellaini gone and Savic in would be a very positive move. Savic provides all the aerial qualities of Fellaini but is an actual midfielder.

Its all Mourinho's fault. He hyped the player to think he's something special when he's actually a glorified water carrier. We had a similar issue with Pogba after SAF pointed the finger at him as the main reason why he refuses to add much needed competition to CM. Players aren't the brightest tool in the box and they don't need much effort to boost their ego.
If Fellaini signs he will be doing so on our terms. However, I wish he doesn't since he's clearly not good enough.
The last report I read was that we offered him a 1-year contract. I might be crazy, but that doesn't sound to me like we are "begging" him to stay or that we see him anywhere near important as people make out. And if that is the case, no wonder he is trying to get the better deal somewhere.

This is one thing I like. We are not bending over backwards trying to please him. We have given him a contract that we consider fair (I'm guessing one year extension with pay around 100k). He seemed to think he was better than that but reality will soon dawn on him. I just hope some club is stupid enough to fall for the hype and sign him. I'm surprised Everton has shown no interest.

He has pissed off most of us after his arrogant comments and trying to shortsell Manchester United by leaving on a Bosman after the manager stood by him in the last 2 years. That being said, he should never been a MU player regardless of his uniqueness in offering the manager an extra dimension in tactics. That is because that dimension of style should never be an option for our club and the football we represent. If we are struggling to break teams down, that is due to our lack in dribbling, width, movement or creativity. Then get the suitable players or implement the right training or tactics, but never the likes of Fellani who offers a physical presence and feck all technique.
