I'm a Fellaini hater, but I respect his ability as a target man. But that has to sail by to make room on the squad for a proper midfielder.

Absolute cheek of the oaf, he should count his blessings that we are willing to keep him.

With how little our fanbase could stand him before, he'll be in for an absolute nightmare if he ends up staying, and I don't really want that sort of ugliness around our club, it's not what we're about.

It's pretty troubling how desperate Jose seems to be to keep him, as much as a different option as he is, he's still just Fellaini.

The fact that there are so many rumours of big clubs bulking at his ridiculous salary demands worries me. The guy trurly believed in his hype and it seemed that reality has now started to kick in

I can see him signing the contract given by us while making it look that he was't interested in leaving in the first place

You mother feckers must really like Dirty Dancing.

The bloke is just greedy. Evident by him trying to sue his boots manufacturer for £6m because his boots didn’t fit properly.

I’ve never wanted a player to leave the club so much. He just reminds me of Moyes every time I see him and that is not a season I ever want to see again.

F@ck. I hope not. He should be allowed to go. He is not even worth what he gets already.

Im very worried now, it looked like he was gone but has shot himself in the foot being an absolute tool. Im dreading the photo of him with Ed and the contract 'delighted to announce' etc. That wont go down well at all

I have feelings he will end up renewing with us . He didn't accept our offer because he tried to find a better money elsewhere. Now he gets his reality check that nobody else willing to pay his demand , he will be forced to accept whatever offer we gave to him. Hopefully we pay him penny and only 1 year extension just like everyone in their 30s.I rate him but he should only be used in the last 10 minutes or in local cup games.

Fellaini gone and Savic in would be a very positive move. Savic provides all the aerial qualities of Fellaini but is an actual midfielder.

Fellaini in our own half is a ticking time bomb, Savic in our own half is a valuable asset.

Its all Mourinho's fault. He hyped the player to think he's something special when he's actually a glorified water carrier. We had a similar issue with Pogba after SAF pointed the finger at him as the main reason why he refuses to add much needed competition to CM. Players aren't the brightest tool in the box and they don't need much effort to boost their ego.

If Fellaini signs he will be doing so on our terms. However, I wish he doesn't since he's clearly not good enough.

The last report I read was that we offered him a 1-year contract. I might be crazy, but that doesn't sound to me like we are "begging" him to stay or that we see him anywhere near important as people make out. And if that is the case, no wonder he is trying to get the better deal somewhere.

So, not sure what is with all the fuss about it.

This is one thing I like. We are not bending over backwards trying to please him. We have given him a contract that we consider fair (I'm guessing one year extension with pay around 100k). He seemed to think he was better than that but reality will soon dawn on him. I just hope some club is stupid enough to fall for the hype and sign him. I'm surprised Everton has shown no interest.

Savic would be a big upgrade on Fellaini. Hopefully, he leaves Man Utd soon

withdraw the renewal offer immediately. Theres no resale value with him even if he renewed and we tried to shift him, no one wants to pay his wages even when hes free.

After his comments that United had "made a mistake" in delaying the offer and now he would cost more, United should have taken all offers off the table.

A player of his quality has won the lottery by being at a club like United and won it twice by finding a manager like Mourinho who actually rates him. The arrogance was laughable.

I think he has a detrimental impact on how United play and I will be happy if he leaves.

You have to respect Ed commitment to Jose.
Every fibre of his being must be telling Fellaini to feck off.

Big Sam is gone and I think their new manager likes pass to feet football.

This. Puzzles me we still want him after the blatant disrespect. Wouldn't happen with SAF.
Absolute state of Jose insisting on this.

He should do it.
Needs to show some balls and tell Jose to deal with it or pay Fellaini out of his salary if he feels he can't live without his man.

He actually said this?

Seriously it's time to go and and it's for the board to have a bit of backbone and tell Jose he's gone

Imagine giving three....THREE contract offers to a tree like Felliani and he rejected them every single time....

Words beyond belief

It happened with Pogba and Rooney. That's why you never hype players unless you're ready to offer ridiculous salaries to keep them

Maybe we only offer him 75k pay-per-play for 1 year that's why he keeps rejecting :lol:

Speaks volumes that not many clubs will even take him for free, his biggest link is AC Milan and even they aren't ready to offer top money for him.

fecking rubbish, the sooner he goes the better.

Is he still around? On with him and his ridiculous demands.

He has pissed off most of us after his arrogant comments and trying to shortsell Manchester United by leaving on a Bosman after the manager stood by him in the last 2 years. That being said, he should never been a MU player regardless of his uniqueness in offering the manager an extra dimension in tactics. That is because that dimension of style should never be an option for our club and the football we represent. If we are struggling to break teams down, that is due to our lack in dribbling, width, movement or creativity. Then get the suitable players or implement the right training or tactics, but never the likes of Fellani who offers a physical presence and feck all technique.

Wow, well said. Exactly how I feel. United shouldn't NEED the 'big hoof' play.

Time to quietly release him and crack on with our plans.

He's done incredibly to last here for 5 years with 3 different managers.

Well said, buddy.

I'm still nervous he'll sign and come back to haunt us for a few more years.

Sooner the oaf leaves the better. . He sums up everything I dislike post Fergie era.

Bingo. We did this this season when Fellaini wasn't available and we were chasing games and we probably turned around more games than we have since Ferguson retired.

If Fellaini is leaving the hoofball tactics he encourages will not be missed.

Simple solution , release fallani. Should never have played for united, never good enough.
