Federico Chiesa | Liverpool agree initial 13m (Euros) fee

Gone quiet on him recently, is he still good ?
Only recently came back from a long term injury, and was easily Italy’s most dangerous forward in the last Nations League games.

I personnally always rated him. He has an old school vibe in the way he plays. No nonsense, constant offensive threat and makes lots of defensive efforts for the team.

He would be a great signing for United and quickly a fan favorite. But not sure he’d be our priority right now

Doesn't actually answer the question
Fact is, there's no answer yet.
Most of his effectiveness was related to him being so gung-ho and intense, and it's too early to say if the injury impacted his athleticism and injury-proneness.

Puts me in mind of Joaquin for some reason, would have liked us to have signed him in his prime, and Chiesa now.

Bolded part: Before the emergence of Garnacho, I always thought United should get Chiesa for that particular trait and the way he plays his game. I am not saying Garnacho is near his level yet, but certainly it is pleasing to the eyes of me as a fan compared to current Sancho. Hope next season will bring positive changes to Sancho.

Loved watching this guy play before the injury. Hopefully it doesn't hurt him too much in the long term.

Aye, very direct and goes at 100mph. Reminds of the Kanchelskis/Valencia type wingers  Also has the ability to play a few positions iirc.

Not sure how his injury would have impacted him though, but would have loved him with us - even moreso now at a potentially "decent" price. Unfortunately low down on the priorities list.

Well now that we’re rumoured to be looking for a LW, he could climb back up the list!

One of my favorite players. Brilliant, pacey, straightforward

Has he refound his form pre ACL?

Supposedly been back to his best on a forum I was on. I think it's worthy to keep an eye with injury in mind not exactly sure Juventus are in hurry or need to sell. I think him and Neto are good options coincidentally both coming back from major injuries but would add alot of dynamism to the wide play.

First bit of good form since all the injury trouble and he's coming into the last 18 months of his deal, so I'd expect this to be agent driven to get a new contract, but you never know.

There's a lot to like about him.

His contract is up in 2025, so it would make sense to go for him if he's over his injuries.

Is he even a RW ?

That's Ander Herrera, what are they on about?
I'll be the first to say that this will be a disaster for the club, as opposed to when Sancho joined United. He's expensive, huge wages, not well known internationally and is not a top top RW, below Antony.
reverse psychology

I love watching him play, but not only does he seem to play mostly from the left when I've seen him, which we don't need, he's also been riddled with injuries. He's had a great start to this season though, so maybe his luck's turned.

Isn't he mostly on the left? Did always like him but haven't seen him since the injury. Seems to have had a lot of muscle issues post knee surgery too, something to watch out for. I know he has played on the right in the past, but whoever we sign should be purely for the right. I quite like having the traditional right footer on the right wing tbh, but I'm not sure this is what Ten Hag goes for. But either him or Pedro Neto I'd be happy with.
