FC Girondins de Bordeaux folded due to financial issues

In 22/23 United was flying high under Ten Hag, our defense was the best across the top 5 leagues, largely aided by our solid midfield of Casemiro and Eriksen. We were challenging on 4 fronts, people were actually talking about a title and I admit would have never happened, but that's how good we were at the time, that it was part of the conversation. Then that giant lump Andy Carrol recklessly injured Eriksen, writing him off the remainder of that season and pretty much killing any hopes he had of playing regularly at this level again. Also completely derailed our season, Once Eriksen was out we lost our momentum, our style of play changed and it starting going downhill. I am not saying Eriksen's injury was the sole cause of the rest of that season ending poorly, I am just saying he was the cause of the turning point of the season.

Why is there so much love for that dirty sack of shite Andy Carroll on this site? feck Any Carroll.

Anyway, it's a fun and highly unusual story what he's doing in playing Bordeuax. Simple as that for me. The often laughed at, often disliked Andy Carroll doing something that's actually pretty cool.

Can't say I hold grudges, shit happens in football. Should we hate Martinez for studding Cole Palmer in the knee and Noni Madueke in the thigh in recent times? Or do we have no consitency at all and say cartain things don't count if they're wearing the right coloured shirt? I'd rather be a bit more even and not hold lifelong hatred for things that come with the territory of playing football.

Didn't remember that Carroll challenge, didn't remember Martinez's either to be honest. Googled the term injured by Manchester United player to try and find a bit of a dodgy tackle by one of our players and they were first that popped up. They didn't result in a proper injury but were still pretty bad challenges watching them back. They're not things I dwell on.

Pretty sure you're not supposed to wish injuries on players on here.

I have amended my post, it was too far, but my dislike of Andy Carroll remains, but I hope he continues injury free until the point of playing in Regional 1 league where he belongs.

Injuries happen, I get it, and if It's our player playing dirty and causing injuries I will call them out. I hated Fellaini, despised him, because he is a dirty player who seeks to injure others. Find this highlight, whether malicious or sloppy, it was unnecessary and egregious and it caused lasting damage to our player and it has cost us and him.

Fair enough, don't expect everyone to be the same as me. We all have different things that get to us or wind us up.

When I was younger and more passionate about United I think I might have had the same attittude as you. I definitely care less these days. Think I've developed a bit of a sieve for a brain too and forget more that's happened.
