Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

Foden! So glad I brought him in a couple of weeks ago. He's turned out to be quite the differential for me.

I still stand by the opinion that he's an overrated player though

Foden and I captained Palmer over Salah.... +500k into the top 500k overall, little win. Taking it.

All you bums with Foden, where was the encouragement for me when I mooted to switch Diaz to him:lol:

What a game to bring Sels in for too, doh

Think I'm selling Amad, Roger's and Watkins for Foden Kluivert and Mateta

Foden or well City are about to go into an insane streak of games and are clearly going to concentrate heavily of regrouping into serious CL contenders as opposed to the League, so be wary.

Don't you think City will also want to get themselves into top 4

Well, I think that's a guarantee... but their toughest 6 games left are all in the next 6 in a period where they have no breathing space in their CL games.

What the actual feck... City score 6 and Haaland has 1 fecking goal! I've suffered with keeping him for so long and this is the final nail in the coffin. FFS..

Brighton score 3 goals and this useless Pedro has no returns. Pathetic.
He put the ball in the net and did the most cringey minute or 2 smugly posing for their crowd.
Then it was ruled out. Enjoyed that.

If only it counted for something other than me losing FPL points. You know, like us winning the game or not shipping 3 other goals. :(

It's where United are at the moment - get a goal overturned and still comfortably lose.

I was hoping for a draw early on the way the game went - Brighton just looked way pacier, more mobile and slicker. That's worrying to say.

My KDB punt from last week has worked great - 7 and 12 points in the last 2 GWs. I need to start creating some fund though for the AM chip and need to ship out Cucurella and Pedro before Pedro drops more in price

So in hindsight Salah ends up being the best captain choice out of Salah/Palmer/Isak..

Fair play to everyone who captained Wood.

So, Isak then?

If Salah had a real tough one I may consider Isak but he’s at home to Ipswich who just got pumped 6-0. Again it all depends on if you’re chasing in your league or not and whether you need to take risks. I can’t bet against Salah at home to Ipswich to captain Isak away at Southampton.

Scored 25 points.

First transfer of the week done, Wissa in for the injured Solanke. 1 remaining.

Solanke's injury opened up a few more paths for the Liverpool double, was all set to do Timber > Konate + Salah and assistant manager Slot as well as Lewis > Myko for some Everton coverage. Did make me think I might just go Solanke > Gakpo but trying to guess which Liverpool forwards will be playing/returning is a minefield.

Still, there's a few more possible angles to look at now I have extra funds with enough to still bring in Slot.

The original Timber > Konate, Lewis > Myko plan by 24
or Lewis > Konate, forget about Myko
or Sanchez > Allison, Lewis > Myko

The last of those seems best for now, but I don't know. Still very much need my exit strategy for 29, got to work out which best alligns with that.
