It’s fecking stupid. They should scrap the BPS and just have extra point for a goal, assist and clean sheet across the board.
It's sad that I'm not even questioning whether to captain anyone else other than Salah for the next GW.
Looks like I will have to bring Salah in sooner rather than later.

3 weeks of clawing back points and being within 20 points of my rival all undone by TAA there. I'm now relying on Jesus to save me. Probably would have more luck becoming a professional footballer myself.
Imagine sticking with Haaland for the big Leicester haul and he scores 1 goal as a 15m asset. And had turned down the TAA, Diaz, reshuffle route.

My players haven done well if you add up their points but it's all contextual. 24 points from 4 sounds good.
Actually needed 55 to maintain rank, miles behind. No cap Salah for me, Son missing a pen, and loads of the popular players doing something. Robinson, Wood, TAA, Aina, Luis Diaz etc.

6 points a player on average you'd be well happy. Double it for your captain and you've got a nice 72.
It doesn't seem surprising to you that a full back scoring, keeping a clean sheet and no doubt good points for key passes and general passing stats, is rated higher than a player whose job it is to score and assist?
Should an attacker always outscore a defender under your scheme, unless it's a 0-0?
It's good it's moved on from the bad old days where Rooney, Fabregas, big name forwards would get max bonus on their name. Or a 1-0 pen taker would get the 3 bonus even if that was all he did all game.

Brilliant day with Wood, Salah and Trent smashing it but bringing on Son for injured Saka was an absolute disaster with the missed penalty. Scores that and it would have been an insane day.
Salah has 2 blanks in 18 starts. Amazing! Best FPL season ever by the end of it!

It's saying 43.7 overall, but that includes all the useless teams that people have long given up on.

I'm guessing that covers most of us that are trying to do well?

Fecking stuck with Haaland and used WC already. Thought the Cnut would start scoring with easy fixtures coming up but done feck all so far. Also thought going with Haaland as others have Salah might help if he started scoring. Complete failure.

If Salah's form dropped off or he got injured, this game would become much more interesting. Kinda boring at the moment for me TBH.
