44 with Pinnock, Robinson, Palmer, Rogers and Mbuemo to go. Captaining Salah, having wood and keeping my trust in Larsen, Gvardiol paying off
 
Seeing the highlights this morning, Haaland still had a hatful of chances in really good positions (how he didn't score right at the end I've no idea) so I'm gonna hold onto him. He's very far away from being a captaincy option in any fixture on this form though, which makes his price a bit silly.

Theoretically, I could swap him for any ~£6m striker and have an Mbeumo-Palmer-Salah-Saka-Son midfield. Can't say it isn't a little tempting.

Glad I remained patient with Davis. Sacked off Watkins on Friday for Cunha, while also juggled with prospect of sacking off DCL for Larsen for double Wolves attack but resisted this.

I think I’m planning DCL out for Evanilson. At least I’d have two “set and forget strikers” in Cunha and Evanilson over the next few weeks while they have green/grey matches.
 
Lewis Hall getting rave reviews lately. Had him at the start of the season but he looks to be nailed now so might have to bring him back in.

Thinking TAA, Carvalho and Ndiaye out for Hall, Johnson or a United mid and Strand Larsen. I could just get Johnson for the Ipswich fixture and wait and see on United. No idea what the new system will look like and who will benefit. Could even be a case of moving Wood to Hojlund for instance.

On Wolves, I'd prefer Cunha to SL but that would mean getting in another cheap as chips defender.
 
Ofocurse Rogers scores when I bench him and Pep brings on Rico for a 1 pointer.
 
I'm glad I only kept Son for one week, even if he was injured for it. Seems the only reliable route into the Spurs attack this season is Solanke.

You're probably right and he is looking great right now, sure, but I still feel there's a chance that Maddison gets back in the team and Kulusevski ends up taking Johnson's place. Whereas there's no clear path to Solanke getting dropped.
 
Kept hold of Johnson, got Rogers. I needed that, still way behind on the week.

Didn't really understand the clamour to get rid of Johnson and to a lesser extent Solanke.

No goals in 2 for Johnson but a 1.16 xG over those games was a lot. A small bit of xA on top.

Solanke I understand more for recent form but his xG per game stats were still really good compared to a lot of forwards. They'll be through the roof for forwards after today. With 2 home games (today and Ipswich) on the horizon he didn't seem like a must sell but I understand it as he's been very quiet for a few matches and just the 1 assist in that time. Weird player in a way so far this season, 3 games over 1 xG now which is huge, 3 under 0.10. Not many games in the middle, he's been streaky/uneven.
 
Solanke is responsible for over half my points this GW with only Mbeumo and Rashford left to play. Of course I benched Rogers and transferred out Semenyo.
 
Happy Solanke returned. Hopefully another haul next week before I replace him with one of Welbeck or Jackson.

Still hurts looking at my week with Ndiaye in the team and Semenyo on the bench. That last minute decision cost me 7 points, which is frustrating.

Still got ESR, Mbuemo and Andersen to go, hopefully Fulham get me those differential points.
 
Had all of Solanke, Rogers, Son and Gvardiol for this game week. Feels good after all the godawful GWs I had recently.
 
I really want Cunha over SL so will have to go Kulusevski instead of Johnson. I don't expect to hold the Spurs mid for long (expect to jump on a United mid when we know who's favoured) so I think that's the better long term decision.

Christ this game is boring.
 
Had Sanchez on my bench, so thank goodness we despatched that pen.
The misery of a cleany, pen save and MOM points were running through my head!
 
Best 2 points I've ever got today from Palmer, I'll take that!

Just need Mbeumo and Jimenez to star in a 3-3 tomorrow to fix up the weekend now.

Lost 0.1 on Haaland Saturday night, Salah possibly rising tonight, Cuhna sometime soon as well. Don't want it to cost me any more than it needs to.
 
Already made my FT for next week. I now have 15 players from 15 different teams. I don’t think I’ve ever managed that before.
