Fantasy Premier League 20/21

I never really knew that she could dance like thisss

You can never know what the fraud managers will do.
Right now I have KDB captain since I feel he is most nailed on to play 90 minutes.

Although I could move it to Salah or Bruno easily really.

Watkins captain against West Brom anyone?

If they didn't have a new manager I would say that is a fun pick but I wouldn't bother personally. The way Watkins is playing and the need to impress WBA will go all out for a clean sheet.

Depends who you're replacing him with. I mean his fixtures aren't exactly great.
That is the problem

I do not have another 1M to replace him with any of the 8M kinda players. So the players I can replace him with are around the 7M mark or lower.
Maddison/Greenwood/Bergwijn/Mount (all around 7M mark)

or

Neto/Podence/Gross/Harrison/Ward Prowse who are in the almost 6M mark

And I am not sure if those players are much worth than Zaha.

Bruno or KDB for captain I think. Salah could get rested.

Have the same problem too. I am really tempted to captain Mahrez. I captained Sterling last week and it paid off. I feel like he will start and surely City can't keep not scoring. Saints do like to attack so it does leave options open for the front 3.

My dilemma for the captaincy.

Bruno - We have not scored more than 1 goal in league games at OT and I believe our home goals total is 3? That's terrible and to make things worse we play a team that hound you for 90 mins. Yes it is Leeds, and yes they do let in goals but this smells like a low scoring game. I don't fancy Bruno.

Salah - Liverpool have drawn their last 3 away games. Palace aren't really the pushovers that they were last season. I'm not entirely sure what to make of this game. Even if Salah does get on the score sheet, is he going to get the 3 bonus?

Mahrez - I have him and I'm tempted on the basis that he should start and Saints play a high line. If Aguero is back in the line up the team is already 10/20% improved. He has a knack for scoring when you least expect.

Sterling - Same as above, could be goals against a team that likes to attack. City are struggling but a nice differential.

Wilson - It's Fulham at home, he's also part of every attack it seems so I like the pick but it feels like you're clutching at straws when captaining a player from a bad team.

For those of you worried about our home record and captaining Bruno I'm going to attempt to come up with excuses for it.

Palace - hopelessly unfit
Spurs - still hopelessly unfit
Chelsea - after PSG a
Arsenal - after leipzig
West brom - no real excuse
City - few days after goin out of CL

Our tactics have been negative in a few of them and there's been a lack of legs I think due to tough CL games but I think we're gonna see our home form improving, starting this weekend

Plus law of averages he can't be blanking 3 game weeks in a row?

Strange Captain options this time. No real stand outs.

Bruno playing Leeds but he was quite deep last match and on the counter, I'd expect Rashy or Martial to outscore him.

KDB playing an attacking Southampton team, I think he's a decent option. His record over the last 4 games is really good and he was unlucky not to get more in some of those.

Salah is always dangerous but CP are improving and I hate Captain on the early game.

I'm on Bruno but seriously considering KDB.

I'm flapping between captaining Kane v Leicester at home and Bruno v Leeds at home.

I've changed to KDB. If we play Rashy, Greenwood and Martial with Pogba and Bruno behind them, I'm thinking the points will come from the front three as Leeds will be open to the counter. I can see Bruno assisting the assister.

Kane is good option but Son is the stand out. When's the last time Kane got a double digit haul? Son is primed to break away and nick a goal but Kane will probably get the assist.

KDB is playing a super attacking Southampton and of Aguero is back, KDB can easily do well. I reckon he'll be 10 with Rodri and Gundogan behind, freeing him up to venture into the box.

What's his record like in general?
I've only discovered him tonight, but it sounds like Klopp trains with his expected starting XI. This guy posts that XI, but it won't necessarily be the starting XI due to players being rested for the training session (perhaps that's what's happened to Salah here?), last minute injuries, etc. He got Matip wrong in the week, for example.

I'm leaning towards captaining Salah regardless, but I have Bruno and KDB too, so I'm really torn this week.

I don't have KDB unfortunately, I hate not having him. Bruno should've had two assists the other night, and the bookies have the goal total at 3.35 which is pretty high for a prem game, but there's potential he won't play the full 90. Whereas Kane definitely will, bagged two vs Leicester last time they played them, feels like one of those games where he bags a brace or something. Argh it's hard.

Kane rising and Vardy dropping tonight. Feels wrong somehow doing Vardy to Kane. Any thoughts? Already have Son btw.

I'm going Mahrez captain. Bored of following the crowd and I need to make up ground. If I drop rank I drop rank.

Would seem odd for Salah to be rested given he hasn’t played all that much recently and they have no game until the 27th. It’s enough to make me not consider him for vice captain though.

You're just ever so massively wrong on that.
He couldn't play much more than this!

Tue 1st Dec Ajax 90
Sun 6th Dec Wolves 90
Wed 9th Dec FC Midtjylland 90
Sun 13th Dec Fulham 83
Wed 16th Dec Tottenham 90

I'm tempted to bin him for Son as Son seems a key man to have this week.
Does leave things dodgy to not have him versus Brom at home next week though - but Son/De Bruyne or Bruno could go back to him.

Getting Salah in feels like such a big disappointment if he gets rested as well.

We will see if more popular players gets rested over christmas.

Head wrecked with FPL this evening. Have decided to do 4 transfers over the following 24 hours (2 x -4's) which I think leaves me a very strong squad and in my opinion most of the best valued players in the game:

For GW 14:
Kilman -> Reece James
Watkins -> Welbeck

For GW 15:
Cresswell -> Coufal
Grealish -> Son

Martinez / Forster
Reece James / Zouma / Coufal / Dallas / Lamptey
Salah / KDB / Bruno / Son / Soucek
DCL / Bamford / Welbeck

Bolds are undroppable.

I think I'm settled on Son captain. Bruno is tempting but who knows which United will show up? Will Leeds' attacking play in to our hands, cause a stalemate or overwhelm us? That it could play in to our hands makes it a tough decision though.

@Moby Changed my mind  . Gone from Mahrez to Bruno. Hope it don't bite me in the arse.

Just looking at Leeds fixtures and they have let in 7 in the last 3. If Leeds can score first and rattle us it could be a goal fest.

It would hurt more losing Bruno points. I gotta back my boy.

Feck sake. I think I persuaded myself above too. And this might have tipped me over the edge.

We play best when a team comes out to play right? Right?!

Lads lads lads. Is a 2 week punt on Aguero madness? I can swap him out for vardy now, then replace him with Kane for his home fixtures.

Liverpool have 8 day break after today till their next league game. Why would they rest Salah? It makes no sense. He will start I reckon. However the rumour he's not is enough of a reason to captain somebody else. Definitely don't sell him though.

The Salah rumour just feels a little too sketchy doesn't it.
A week without a game after today and then they have three over a week. With Jota out they dip madly to the next back ups.
Plus he's essential next week.

If nothing more comes out seems best to just keep. Prob would come on and potentially score too.

Will have to go without Tottenham but you really can't have them all. But will need both the big boys soon.

Kilman to the 4.4m Burnley starter i think is my transfer. Keeps 2 for next week.
Bruno captain.
Good luck all!
