Fantasy Premier League 20/21

So often those weeks you think you're up for a massive score turn into utter tits.

2 Chelsea defence, Dias, Justin
Salah Bruno De Bruyne Grealish
Watkins DCL Bamford

and only 37 points so far. Bloody norma.
 
Time to bring Rashford in? We have a decent run coming up.

Surprisingly Bruno not involved in any of our goals.

Lots of benefit because you'd still have the FH for later on in a season where anything could happen with scheduling. The problem is whether you can also field enough players the week before too. Most of us can't do both so it's FH in one or the other, but if you think you can make it work then go for it.
 
My patience with Rashford since the start of the season finally paying off! Even put im as Captain only for the second time. :D Good day.
 
Yet another week where points have dried up despite having big names. Shockers all around,
 
Switched captaincy to Bruno. No goals no assists. Typical really.
 
I can't believe the guy leading our work league got away without having Bruno, DB or Grealish! Lucky bast!
More than that and he's put a 20 pointer in on me this week.

He did take Son out for Mahrez though - but that's literally the one thing that hasn't gone great for him for months.

Against everyone else in the league though I can chuckle that De Bruyne's 8 actually turned out a "haul" v Bruno's 4!

I knew he couldn't keep blanking.

Looking like 65pts which is better than I'd hoped yesterday.

What are the chances of bonus pts for Bruno/Rashford/Martial?

He's coming out of my team now as well. Stuck with him long enough.
 
Looks like 52 for me and back in the top 1m for the first time since GW1.

I guess Konsa will probably miss Sunday too, so will have to bring a defender in. That will likely mean Kilman (who will now surely start again) leaving for Taylor, which gives me £0.3m buffer in allowing KDB & DCL to Son & Kane in GW16.
 
What are people's thoughts on John Stones? 4.8m ridiculously cheap and has played 3/4.

Tbf, I was quite surprised when I saw it. Considering the kind of goals his brace were, and the overall play, you’d think both Rashford and Martial would be ahead of him BPS wise.

Not for me. Will get rotated and no attacking potential. I want all my defenders to offer some sort of notable attacking threat as backup for the clean sheet being wiped. Dallas last night for an example. If you get attacking returns good chance of bonus points also

Hmm. For that price though, it's mightly tempting. I know he isn't the best defender but when you play a few games for Pep you think he's got his trust.

He's good value if you have decent back up defenders to rotate if he doesn't play.
 
Annoying going Bruno over Rashford. Made sense given his form, but would have been easier to get Rashford.
I personally like having wingers more than creative players. Just annoying that only Auba and Salah got pens from them.
 
51 so decent overall, lamptey and Dallas on my bench with 13 points though so could have been much better.

Imagine he’ll be back in the team after City lost their run of clean sheets without him. Obviously mug here took a 4 point hit to bring him in for Dallas at the start of the week.
 
58pts. Up to 400k. Still not happy at all with my rank but it was a rough Start.

It's maybe the 2nd time this season that I've gained a tiny bit on some of the leaders in leagues.

I think I might go Mahrez captain this week. I'd be surprised if he doesn't start considering he was rested and he seems to be that greedy player who gets chances and loves to shoot.

I have two options:

Robertson, KDB and Wilson out for Cancelo, Son and Kane

Or

KDB and Wilson out for Mahrez and Kane

I like the idea of Mahrez... It's just the pep roulette that worries me...

I don't want to make recommendations because I'm not having the best season so I'll let someone else comment on above!

What I will say about Mahrez is based on the fixtures he generally misses 1 then plays the next 3 or 4. At 8.5 (I got him 8.4) he really can be a key differential if he hits for you.

I still believe that City are going to improve and start tonking teams. This is the worst they've played in a long time.
 
Does anyone know why my app is showing 101.8 team value and on my laptop it's 104.3?
My guess it's showing the selling value on the app and the overall value on the website.
 
45 feckin points. Thanks to two defenders who kept clean sheet.
Else it would have been historic low
 
Bruno's first blank away from home since he joined us. Of course exactly when I captain him.
