All rests on Hazard now, literally need at least a goal and an assist. Or maybe he gets injured in the warm up and the (c) would then go to Kun.
 
Bought Alonso in on my wildcard 2 game weeks ago. What an absolute waste. How depressing. Captained Sanchez. How depressing. Last time I show faith in our team. 62 points. How depressing.

Francis somehow managed a -1 vs Huddersfield. Unbelievable.
 
Forgot to change my captain, so another 4 points from Pogba. :wenger: Literally every other attacking player in my team has scored this week as well.
 
Conte says Morata is injured and might not play for the rest of the season yet here he is only a few days later.

So much for Giroud being a good differential.
 
Christenson completely fecked me 6 game weeks in a row. FPL equivalent of torture. So I take him out, and put Alonso in as his replacement. West Brom and Watford. Surely he can get some points from this. Big fat zero

Ofcourse Christenson comes back into the team this week and claims a handy 7.

I’m gonna bite the bullet and get Salah back in. I sold him at 9.5m so this whole escapade has cost me 0.9m as well as a boat load of points. Such a muppet.

Thinking Pogba / Alonso > Salah / Bauer as Stoke are one of the few teams who don’t blank in GW31.
 
I had Kane, Aguero (c), Salah, Sterling and Courtois yet I only only got 84 points... How did people get 100+ points?
 
I got 79 without Aguero. Thought I'd be miles behind everyone in my mates league but I got the highest points this week :lol:
 
Finished on 57, absolute cack. Did Alonso > VVD last night just out of rage, may regret that one :lol: can't have a 7.2m defender not playing

In need of changing things up! Do you guys think it's worth a-8 doing Pogba > Shaqiri and Ayew > Firmino. I can do that today with the prices as they are?

That would probably allow me to get through GW31 without using the Free Hit and then use Free Hit for FA Semi Final week assuming some of the big boys are in it and blanking GW35?

Yeah do it. Firmino over Ayew alone should reap dividends.

So much for me holding out. I saw that Lingard and Alonso were on the verge of dropping again so swapped them both out for Davies and Walcott.

Fingers crossed no injuries before gw28.

Assuming Spurs win the cup replay there will only be 4 fixtures that week..

Liverpool v Watford
Bournemouth v WBA
Stoke v Everton
Huddersfield v Crystal Palace

That's what I am thinking too now, given I have 4-5 players for the BGW already, but no Wildcard to use. I can bump up the number to 8-9 starting for the BGW with the FTs and utilise the Free Hit for the DGW.
 
Looking at it from a different angle there might be more benefit in using the free hit in the second dgw (37). It should be clearer who has something to play for (and therefore less likely to rotate key players).

I guess it depends on what sort of team I can get out for gw35.

It's a balancing act between the merits of adding a few extra players to get a full team out on a bgw or making sure you get 11 doublers out in a dgw.

Already having 3 x Liverpool players and Shaqiri, I somehow think I'll wait to use the free hit but just sub a couple of players in - Seems like those "boring" games can go in all directions

I've already got Salah, Shaqiri, Walcott, Firmino, Wilson.

I don't have any Watford players in at the moment, and I don't see the point in trying to get some in just for gw31, as the game is Liverpool away. And the game before, Arsenal away. They've got 2 good fixtures coming up (Everton and WBA at home), but unless you already them, it's a risk bringing them in for gw30 and 31.

Huddersfield might be a better option, they have decent games on gw30 and 31 (Swansea (H), Crystal Palace (H)). I may try and get in two H'field players (maybe Mooy and Zanka or another mf?) for those two games, more likely to get a return imo. Then dump them out for the wildcard in gw32.

Team I'm hoping to play for GW31...7 or 8 players.
van Dijk - Salah, Shaqiri, Walcott, HF midfielder(s) - Firmino, Wilson.
 
As it stands my GW31 team would be...

Pickford, Robertson, Salah, Walcott, Shaqiri, Wilson

I'll probably remove Shaw for Daniels as he's not consistently getting games, Firmino in for Aguero is a no brainer and might as well stick in Siggy for Albrighton with the extra cash as a single week punt.

Tbh after seeing what Aguero did last night and looking at their fixtures I half fancy bringing in Firmino this weekend but that would mean a -8 as I've already shifted Alonso and Lingard for Davies and Walcott. I also really fancy Vardy to start smashing in goals with Leicesters upcoming fixtures. As it stands I assume everyone will be captaining Kane this weekend vs Crystal Palace?
Rumours going around that Palace haven't even got a fit goalkeeper.

Foster - Huddersfield at home.
Ayew - Brighton away
Milo - pens
Chiwel - stoke home

Tempted to do bench boost. Should I?
