I hope I have no injuries or surprise dropped players this weekend. For some reason, I left Antonio as first choice sub with Chicharito as second.
Points for Eriksen and Hernandez. I'm happy.

This is the most fun Fantasy week I've had in a long time. And that's despite replacing Kane with Aguero and forgetting to change my captain from Silva to Kun. Morata!
For enjoyment's sake, I'm going to stick with the three 10+ forwards. Much better than worrying about fecking clean sheets.

I remembered this post and tried to find it but couldn't be arsed to look that hard. I had a similar dilemma but stuck with him. Least he didn't get a hatrick haha.
Good day for me too though could have been better. Mendy went off injured so got 0 points for that, matic and fellaini 3 points and Rashford 2 point, but captained Kane and got good points for Morata and Erikson and now coutinho is playing well. Should be on 80 points minimum by the end of the day.
Set for 76 pts with bps today with Elliott and Mbemba to play. Much better than last week. At the same time, Aguero did pretty well so I imagine the average will be relatively high.
Doing ok but not managed over 60 points yet so far. My team is consistent but can’t get them all firing at once, it’s frustrating. A few guys in my mini league have had a couple of extremely lucky weeks and I just can’t catch them it’s so annoying
I think I'm going to replace Bailly with Jones, basically the same points return, but nearly 1.0 cheaper.

Why on earth would anyone have any of these? Rashford I can understand to a little degree but the other two are useless fantasy assets.
Top of a few mini leagues without Kane or Morata.

Because they're all i can afford obviously. Rashford is now out for Vardy but for now I'm gambling on a cheeky goal or assist from Matic and Fellaini. I got a respectable 80 points plus Elliot to go this week which isn't too bad in my opinion.
Better of playing two players that cost 4.5 and use that extra 1 million or so elsewhere. There's not a significant difference in the point haul for two 5's and two 4.5's.
You should have done your homework. It was known it advance that Stoke were without Wimmer, Cameron and Zouma.
I got in Aguero in place of Morata. Thought he'd score more as City were playing at home to a woeful Palace. But you're right. Should have thought it through.
Just saw the Highest Score team and I saw something weird. That guy made 18 transfers. Is that even possible?

But Aguero price rocketed after his hat trick so if you waited, you might have been priced out.

Looking at how this season is shaping up, I am honestly thinking of going Kane-Lukaku-Morata/Jesus/Aguero when I use the WC. And then put the remaining amount on defense, and just bypass the midfield.

Got 63 points with Mbemba and Elliot still to play. If Mbemba doesn't play I have Chicharito on the bench with 5 points. Sadly didn't gambled on - 8 for Hazard and Chicharito out and Salah and Morata in.
But I made early transfers for next week transferring Hazard and Chicharito out (yeah I gambled on Hazard early after Mane's red card) for Mane and Morata for - 4 points.

Top heavy strikers seems to be the way to go this year so far, as others have said there are plenty of good options below the top price bracket in midfield this year and as always there are points to be got from cheap defenders.

He went off injured and got booked so had 0 points I had Lukaku, Kane, Eriksen, Morata all in my starting eleven Kill me I did the same with my WC, but instead bypassed defense. You can have Def + GK of avg 4.5, and still get 2 clean sheets on a bad day.
After that, get your forwards of avg 11 and three mids of avg 10. Use 4-3-3 (four def to improve chances of clean sheet) and you have a team. Has worked for me so far.
Defense is undervalued on FPL anyway. Same points for scoring and keeping a clean sheet for 90 min? The fact that you get 6 points for a defender scoring says it all really.

I was trying to be smart and thought Mendy was good for a clean sheet. Might have picked up an assist or two as well.
Never rely on a clean sheet. 90 minutes to not concede is not good odds
Nothing particularly wrong with that. A goal and two assists is nothing to scoff at.
