Fantasy Football 2015/2016

I will try again after fist gameweek, maybe it will be possible then.

Walcott on the bench, goes from bad to worse..

Not so good so far today. Cedric with an assist but yellow carded and they've conceded. Have Stekelenburg and Tadic to. Cazorla, Arsenal down to WH. Bellerin injured and not playing.

Then i have Benteke that will hopefully score in a loss to Stoke and Berahino tomorrow vs City.

Got Ozil in my team, might swap him out for Ayew, Sigurdsson, Cabaye or Bolasie. Thoughts?

Is Bellerin definitely injured? I wondered where he was.

Unbelievable.

Worst start to FF season I've ever had.

Same, even though I am above average, but I expected better. This is 50% luck; 50% actually analysis(or 60%/40%). Unfortunately I am not as lucky, but this is still the first week. Many of the big names will eventually start performing and the likes of mahrez, albrighton, dealaney, etc., will eventually fall.

are you fecking kidding me? to top it off now neither Bellerin or Walcott are in the starting XI...ffs

I feel very annoyed. Why in the world did Arsenal not go through the right more often? Ox was playing well, and he didn't get much time on the ball on the right side! The Mahrez transfer now hurts even more...

At least, with Defoe and Pelle being my goalscorers, I have some decent points on the board. I'm just hoping for Silva to have a MOTM performance whilst losing 3-2 against West Brom.

Adrian is my highest scorer so far... Looks like he might get some bonus points too, which are sorely needed as the rest of my team have done sweet feck all.

I'm reliant on Benteke, Henderson and Clyne now to salvage any sort of pride in game week 1.

Exactly where I didn't want to be at the start of the season.

I ended this week. 44 points, not as good as i hoped.

Do anybody know why Bolasie played only 18 min? I will change him if he is not a starter at Palace anymore.

Jesus Christ my team fecked me over big time

-----------Courtois----------
Cedric---Mertesacker---Baines
Cazorla-----Hazard (v)-----Sterling--Henderson

Pelle----Rooney (c)-----Berahino

Special mention to Thibault and Baines though. Cnuts.

Cedric Bellerin O'Shea (Francis comes in instead of Bellerin (2points) and I got Clark who just like O'shea didn't play)
Hazard (C) Sterling Walcott Depay
Benteke Rooney (VC) Wilson

I can't fecking believe it.

Id love 44. 37 with Berahino left.

31 with only Sterling left to play. I'll give it another week before using my wildcard... Every fecking year

On the bright side the points on the website some to update quicker this year.

Adrian got 3 bonus points so i am at 47 with noone left to play. I will sell Bolasie this week and sign Mahrez, hope he will do as well as he did in his first game, he is bargain.

I got 21 ffs. Had Walcott as my captain.

I am happy though, I prefer rivals to United performing badly rather than me getting high FF points.
Haha same. On a side note - i got kicked out of redcafe league i had to re-enter it late?!

It says something about the surprise results and performances that my measly 34 points is enough to put me in the top quarter of most of the leagues I'm in.

Key assumptions that turned out to be wrong this week:
  • Arsenal will beat West Ham, and score at least a few at home.
  • Chelsea will beat Swansea and keep a clean sheet as they grind out a victory at home.
  • Southampton not crushing Newcastle at the start of their easy run.
  • Any one of the top fourteen most expensive midfielders will get above 2 points (it's true, at least until City play tomorrow).
Very strange week. If you took a chance on any of Leicester's midfield, you were greatly rewarded. Conversely, you were punished if you took any of the usual point-getters.

I think I'm giving up on this after one week  I was more bothered about my fantasy players doing well, and players I'd thought about but not included doing badly, than actually hoping for some good football and enjoying it. It's probably an issue with my mentality than the fantasy football...
Although by the Liverpool game I was so resigned to the fact that Butland wouldn't keep a clean sheet that I was less gutted by a late Liverpool goal than usual.

That's always the problem with Fantasy Football.
Start double thinking what you want your rivals to do, still I'll always take them dropping points over my fantasy success.

This is dangerous territory. The best would be to make a fantasy team excluding top 4. That way we would minimize and suppress conflicting interest.

Just joined this now - will my points total from the first week be added for will it be 0? Got 50 and would be second at the moment as well, ffs

I wouldn't do that if I were you. Whilst Mahrez did have a great first week, it's still a long season, and Pardew's Palace look more stable and better shaped than Ranieri's Leceister.

I'd be even worse at that. Liverpool would have the best players and I would still pick none of them on principle.
