This would be my team excl. top 5 (from last year), with 6M in the bank. I'm actually considering using my wild card and go with it, see where it takes me.
Yeah but i just don't know why Bolasie played only 19 mins, if this will be standard it is not worth keeping him in the team.I wouldn't do that if I were you. Whilst Mahrez did have a great first week, it's still a long season, and Pardew's Palace look more stable and better shaped than Ranieri's Leceister.

If I made 3 changes just now and confirmed them, giving me -8 points. Will those go away if I use my WC now? I'm guessing no
Yeah, they will. The points are only deducted at the end of the week so using the WC at any point in the week will prevent them being lost.
You can still make changes until the next deadline. This means that your wildcard can still be used to make up the points. However, using it this early is very risky. I think there's 2 wildcards and one expires before the end of the year or something.You can still make changes until the next deadline. Yes, there are two wildcards, one for each half of the season. Still, though, I'd wait until there's an international break in order to use the wildcard if injuries occur to certain players.I think there's 2 wildcards and one expires before the end of the year or something.
Next week I think. I made a private league for a few friends, and they could not join during the gameweek. Had to set it on GW2 as the first counting one to get them in.If someone can sign up for a league before the end of this Gameweek, will their total score still be counted for that week?
We have a few people at work who still haven't joined the office league, if they join today will they be counted from this week, or only from next week? Hmm, thinking about it, since it's too late to make any transfers, I guess, unless they have already have a team, it would be too late for them?

From experience and seeing a few guides, generally it's considered best to play one of your wildcards only a few weeks in. It's impossible to predict completely accurately who's in form from pre-season, so a mass reshuffle early on is generally a good idea to take advantage of general form rather than try to adapt for a few chance injuries.Yes, there are two wildcards, one for each half of the season. I agree. I have done this every year and have always won my work league. You can tell within the first three weeks who will be regular defenders that cost 4.0 and use those to fill the bench and use the saved money to buy better players.From experience and seeing a few guides, generally it's considered best to play one of your wildcards only a few weeks in. This isn't to say saving a two transfers in the lead-up to international breaks isn't also a good idea.

From what I read some people recommend to do it before/after big teams have a double gameday.From experience and seeing a few guides, generally it's considered best to play one of your wildcards only a few weeks in. Yes, the first international break does come after 4-5 matches, so that's normally a very good time to play it. At that point, you can also see who gets injured for a while, and you can make the appropriate changes.From experience and seeing a few guides, generally it's considered best to play one of your wildcards only a few weeks in. unlucky!I didn't know the super powers were one time use only. I used up mine like an Idiot for gameweek 1

And how do you change your team back?From what I read some people recommend to do it before/after big teams have a double gameday.
Depends. For example Arsenal had a double gameday very late to the season. You shouldn't need to change much as you would probably only want a few players to be definitely in your team. Wildcard isn't a necessity. You only use it if you want to make more than 2 transfers at once without losing points.And how do you change your team back?
Just don't make a couple of transfers, confirm them, then use your wildcard later in the week like i did last season you don't get those transfers back haha.Excellent! Cheers.

Also... "super powers"?

Haha so the same approach as me - fill team with rival players. They do badly I feel good, they do well I feel good. Win, win reallyI got 21 ffs. Had Walcott as my captain.
I am happy though, I prefer rivals to United performing badly rather than me getting high FF points.
Yaya at 8.5m with less than 5% of ownership looks to be a good shout. Even last year in a poor season he still managed 10 goals and an assist plus you'd expect him and City to be better than last year and he'll be on free kicks + pens (whenever Aguero's out).
Haha really?? Errmm maybe you get them back then, i swear i didnt? Im not sure about points i think i had 2 transfers to use so i didnt lose points, just after i used the WC i thought i would get my transfers back again to use another time but i didnt. Did you get your points back? Maybe a wildcard always erases how manh transfer slots you have left whether you use them or not?Err, that's exactly what I did. I was told the WC would still erase the -8 points!
Cech --> Hart
Ozil --> Silva
Ivanovic --> Darmian/Azpilacueta (so I can afford to keep Fabregas)
Berahino --> Sakho
Needs to be done. That'd leave .5m left over too so if I use my wildcard I can upgrade a sub. Won't do this for a couple of weeks though. Will get Ozil and Ivanovic out first when I have 1 transfer next week (will lose 4pts).
Wish I'd taken my own fecking advice, swapped him out for Sterling last minute
Err, that's exactly what I did. I was told the WC would still erase the -8 points!
Do all transfers have to be made at the same time when using my wildcard?
No. Once you have played your wildcard, any transfers you make within that Gameweek are free, including any you made before playing your wildcard, up until the next deadline.
Here to defend my honour. You definitely don't pay for any transfers in a WC week, even those made before you played it. In the FAQ:

I dunno, reckon WBA will be a bit shit this season. I suppose goalscorers always pop up, even Austin did for a dire QPR.Should probably keep Berahino
