He got 14 last season, in a stop start season for him, being dropped for a few games, and also being moved out wide. I wouldn't rule out him moving before the window shuts either.

Should have but didn't! Anyway, I'm definitely going to try and fit in Ayew and Silva. Might have to take Memphis or Fabregas out.

Thats what i would change. Got money spare, or i might give it one more gameweek. Definitely feeling Toure though and possibly Mahrez?
 
Never change your team after the first round, trust me. You wouldn't want your exchanged players have a field day next weekend. Be patient.

Exactly. This guy got it spot on. I've made only one change, and it was Baines out for Darmian. Even then, I'm thinking about saving some money by trading out Darmian for someone cheaper, though I'm not sure who's a better, cheaper option than Darmian.

By the way, I am quite disappointed with my first week. I had 3 players with 0 points, and several of my players got a yellow card, which left me very disappointed.

Ayew for Siggurdson and Cabaye for Bolasie, do you guys think that would be a smart idea?

edit: maybe Payet or Mahrez for one of those two?

I'd be surprised if Ayew got more goals/assists over the course of the season than Sigurdsson. If Cabaye is given more freedom again in a lesser side it could be a good shout actually... barely did anything at PSG in a restricted role but actually had a great record in his last season at Newcastle.
Mahrez is very selfish, doesn't get many assists, frustrates the hell out of a lot of my Leicester supporting mates.

Ok will do Cabaye for Bolasie transfer. Bolasie hasn't started first match and s often changed aroud 75 min mark when he start, will Cabaye took penalties for CRY to? He is good at free kicks but i just can't remember taking him penalties at Newcastle.

Only swapped Ki with Kouyaté and that's that.

52 points although I was a tad furious as I opted for Sterling instead of Touré - could have been 65.

Looks like you have spent 8.5 on keepers (mannone 4.5. Hennsssey 4.0) Not any of the 4.0 keepers will start unless there is an injury to the starter, hence McCarthy is starting at Crystal place because Speroni is injured. So if you are going to have one keeper at 4.5 and another at 4.0, it's not a bad idea to have them both from the same team. For example Ruddy and Rudd from Norwich, Schmiechel and Schwarzer of Leicester, Krul and Elliot of Newcastle that way one of them will play for sure. Other 4.5 keepers Guzan of Villa or Butland of stoke come to mind.
 
Any chance of them giving the points to Silva for the opening goal against West Brom now it's officially been awarded to him?

I thought I was clever getting these two last year but when Krul got injured, so did Elliot :lol:

They do sometimes amend so most likely yes.

No, they do not change the points retrospectively. From the website "For the avoidance of doubt, points awarded in-game are subject to change up until one hour after the final whistle of the last match of any given day. Once the points have all been updated on that day, no further adjustments to points will be made."
 
Ended up on 37 points. What a tough opening week!

Wondering whether to sell Walcott for Mane... Prob go Benteke as captain.
 
Jags out for Gomez. If he doesn't play, Alderweireld is my first sub. Benteke/Berahino my strikers and captains.
 
I'm currently contemplating about going with Yaya and Silva or just Silva for the second GW. I know that Man. City are always able to get goals, but against a Chelsea that will park the bus, I'm not sure...

Took a gamble on Bojan being fit, didn't work out. I need a replacement, have 1.5 in the bank plus the 5.5 from selling Bojan.
Any advice?
 
I'm tinkering all over the field..
In defence I can't decide between Terry, Monreal and Kolarov. Darmian I'm sure about. If Clichy is fit I'll go for Terry, Monreal and Darmian I think..

In midfield I'm not sure if I should gamble on Firminho or go for Mitrovic as an extra striker. Not sure about Young either. What's his record against Villa?

Up front I'm thinking about benching either Berahino and Giroud..

Sakho might be a good shout. West Ham have 2 nice fixtures coming up and looked lively v Arsenal.

I've dumped Walcott and brought Mane in this week.

I was thinking of Sakho, but with the arrest this week he might be a bit distracted. Went with Zarate, because I also think WHU are going to get a good run of results.

Mane looks good value, I am worried that he might not start every game competing with Rodriguez and Juanmi

Apparently the arrest happened before the Arsenal game and he still played well but yeah, it could affect him.

It was a toss up between Mane and Ayew (swansea) but went with the saints man in the end.
 
Got rid of Sterling and put in Chadli then instantly regretted it because I forgot about Ayew. feck
 
I dont want to have City players this week. Chelsea are playing away and won't want to let City gain a 5 point lead so early, therefore you will see a fully kitted up Chelsea bus parked on the pitch. Will probably be a 1-0 either way so allow that.

Keeping the same team this weekend, sticking with Walcott after he was benched last week - hoping he gets the start instead of Giroud. Main problem for me is whether to have Benteke as captain instead of Rooney, assuming the scousers get a few goals against Bournemouth though i know Rooney likes a few goals against Villa aswell so its a tough call.

Next week ill have 2 transfers and a wild card to use which i will save for a few weeks time. Tempted to use it now and bring in the likes of Kompany, Toure, Sanchez, Pelle but gonna keep the faith for now its only week 2.
 
Got rid of Baines and put in Darmian. Rooney is my captain which was a terrible idea :(
 
Had no one in this guy. Transferred Cedric out for Clyne (so far, was good idea).

Rooney is out this week. Lukaku in perhaps. Or make 2 transfers and save up for Aguero/Costa.
