Mignolet seems an odd choice given Liverpool's defensive record in recent seasons + their fixtures to start their season off now. Don't see the point of Depay + Rooney as they'll need to be constantly scoring/assisting to make it worthwhile, Ozil or Yaya at 8.5 would represent better options in midfield imo.

Everton have horrible fixtures after GW1 (South, City, Spurs, Chelsea) so I'd avoid Baines+Jags personally. Same with Berahino really. Firmino is unlikely to start the first game by all accounts as he's eased into the league.

that's what I've ended up going with.
I'm sorry I couldn't fit Ivanovič in, but it was really either him or Walcott and I felt like I really needed to get an Arsenal mid in. While Courtois doesn't have nearly the same appeal as Ivanovič it atleast allows me to get in a defensive cover for Chelsea while giving me greater chances for points in midfield as I just didn't feel confident enough in Puncheon, even though Crystal Palace are a team worth keepying an eye on (especialy Bolasie once he gets back).

Nah, Coleman and Baines will still be good going forward, and their assists/goals could prove to be useful.
 
Can't check the website at the moment as on phone and website ain't loading. Who got assist for the own goal? Rooney's touch or Memphis' cross?
 
Good thing I didn't add any United or Spurs players for GW 1. Our defence has been quite solid, and we've been slow going forward. I don't expect that to change in the second half.

Van Gaal and United are both slow starters, anyways, so I'll probably add a United player after a month or 2.
 
Captain Rooney and Shaw start things off. No Tottenham player for me. Good stuff.
 
I had Albrighton as a bargain, possibly bargain of the year at £5M with how he finished last season. Only 0.3% picked him. Of course he starts it off with an assist after I replaced him for Ritchie today after having him for weeks.

Same old FPL problems

Had Albrighton up until 1 hour before the window closed. Same every year. The one you transfer out have a field day.
 
Should have put him as captain :lol: Mahrez scores 2nd from penalty that he made.

Same for me. I had Mahrez in my starting lineup knowing that he'd do well, and I made the decision to drop him for Mane, who I have benched anyways! Genius, am I not? :wenger:
