I would just like to point out that certain people just need a keeper to complete their teams and could sort it ahead of time.

e.g. 'The Law of Denis' could actually complete his team right now as he just needs a keeper and those who need to pick before he picks again already have a keeper.

Then Erics Collar could also pick his keeper to finish and then me etc

Me too. But given he wore a United shirt, I'm actually not.

81 league games in 10 years is not impressive, I'm afraid.
 
I was thinking of picking Ricardo Gardner or Celestine Babayaro, but I went for Fortune because he was a United player and therefore i may get some extra votes.

not too bad Sharky - although defence is clearly the strong point of the team.

all are players that I at least considered and are worthy of appearing in these lists - maybe a question mark on Park but he has been pretty damn good this season so fair enough.

Yeah I thought I'd get Park on the right because I consider Finnan to be the least solid part of the defence... Now lets see how many awards my team has cumulatively... this could take a while
 
We made it to Round 11, woohoo!!! Didnt expect it to last this far, give yerselves a pat on the back! I feel like a dad who's son just made his first appearance for United.

The Law of Denis may pick his goalkeeper whenever he is ready, he doesnt have to wait for his turn. Somebody might PM him if they get the chance.

Waiting until the last round to pick a goalkeeper was definitely the right way to go, or at least that's what I'd done as well.
There's a much bigger difference between the 5th best winger ever in the Premier League and number 28, than the 5th best goalkeeper and the 14th

Since you were allowed to skip turns to pick a keeper because everyone in front of you has one, may I pick my right back now because esmufc has one?
 
That's only fair if you ask me, I doubt Elvis is going to pick another right back, though I can't quite figure out how he's going to line up in attack with Gudjohnsen.

Id say positions of outfield players are less clear than keepers

e.g. esmufc09 may choose to play Lucas Neill at centre back (where he has played on occasion) and still pick another right back
 
I would be more reluctant to allow people to pick outfield players ahead of their turn. With goalkeepers, its just common sense. No team needs 2 goalkeepers so rather than delay other people if we werent online for our respective picks, TLOD and I just picked ours (i had to wait until he picked first). Roodboy can now pick his, followed by the next person who needs to pick a goalkeeper. With outfield players, theres the possibility of different formations. (3-5-2, 4-4-2, 4-5-1 etc).

Anyway, we're nearly finished, so unless you have a goalkeeper to pick, normal turns will stay in place.

I know Kewell was very good for Leeds, but now I can't get the picture of that ultra slow motion step over out of my head whenever people mention him. Also he's got to have one of the most stupid comments ever in the PL, that one about how United are going downhill...
