Right, so who do people think is looking formidable so far?
Sharky has a mean defence so far, and a good striker in Fowler. However, its gonna be hard for him to bridge them with a good midfield now, but Im sure he has something up his sleeve. The Law of Denis has a very good midfield of McGrath and Ince. Also quite liking Cal's team so far.

I wouldn't say there's much in that.
Bergkamp and Torres is looking the most balanced strikeforce to me. Rooney and Zola would have been a sight to see though.
Torres Bergkamp shades it... well in honesty wins by a fair margin in my opinion.

The very fact that I mentioned your forward line (Torres + Bergkamp + Lampard) implies that I do somewhat envy it. But, frankly speaking not too much.

The only other thing I'd say about it - the lack of creative ability that a McGrath-Ince midfield would have...

I certainly wouldn't have. And I think he complements Batty admirably. They are so different and would provide a most enviable midfield combination.

You'll get the first from me - I cogitated so long about whether to pick Sagna or Friedel, but I truly thought that the GK position was very important and I really wanted Friedel of those left. I'd have missed him otherwise...
