But get beaten home and away by Liverpool, thats a good season yeah... but its not one to tell the grandkids about...

It's a toss of a coin, really, I feel. If you manage to break the 100 point-barrier and yet lose to Liverpool once, or worst case, even twice, I'd surely not mind. Who gets more than 100 points out of 114 in a season?

But, yes, not losing to the likes of Liverpool or City combined with the high points total is ideal scenario...

I thought this was based on Premiership form only, I don't think Waddle's Wednesday days are better than Van Persie... he was very impressive at Spurs in division 1 days though...

We were linked with him for a fair few transfer windows. Villa's best centre back since Paul McGrath. He even did a fantastic job at right back. I always had plans to pick him in this.

Well they play in different positions anyway but Waddle was Player of the Year in the first season of the Prem - in fact he was amazing the first couple of seasons before his age started catching up with him - VP has never been anywhere near as good as that plus he is a twat which doesnt help.
