Ferdinand was the 'striker who has still not been picked' that i was reffering to

good choice, although not sure how well he would have combined with The Berba

I think it could work. Berba dropping deeper with Ferdinand always in the box, I see them playing off each other in my vision of a better world.

I can think of much better strikers than Yeboah and Tevez that are still available - but my strike force is already sorted so im keeping quiet :)

im not sure what position to go for next - either a defensive midfielder or a winger I think ...

No, he was good. He never dazzled or amazed me, I was thrilled that Yeboah was still available. He's the perfect foil for van Nistelrooy.

The striker I've talked about has still not been picked yet. Amazing really.

But the goalkeeper position was more important. I wanted Given, but I'm delighted with Nigel Martyn anyway.
 
The rest are pretty screwed in terms of keepers, I'm glad I got mine out the way.
 
If the striker you are talking about, is the one i think you are talking about... there is a reason id didnt pick him and thats to do with my eventual tactics.
