Have bethesda removed the karma system as well? I haven't seen it so far. So no more be bad and have mercenaries come after you etc?

Is there any faction allegiance stuff like in New Vegas?

Feck me this sounds ridiculously barebones. No Dark Brotherhood esque group you can join vis a vis Elder Scrolls?

Fallout hasn't really had groups you can join like elder scrolls. In Fallout New Vegas there were different factions though and if you do quests for them you would gain approval with that group. And if you did quests for the opposing factions then you would lose approval with a group. Gaining approval with a group would also allow you to finish (or fail) other quests as they would be more willing to listen to someone who helps them out. You would gain benefits such as being able to trade with them and you could get a radio to call them in to battle once a day to help you out.

My understanding so far is that there isn't anything like that this time. Not sure what the replacement is but I'm guessing there has to be something.
 
Works well on Vita via remote play. Though can't comment on it too much as my left analogue stick is messed up so I have trouble picking up loot as I end up being dragged off to the right. Ended up getting on the roof of a building and falling off because of it
 
Bethesda have recorded 1000 names for this. Anyone's it hasn't recognised?

Most of Jeff's issues cropped up late game I believe or atleast that's what I pulled from the above youtube clip.

Let's be honest Pete Hines isn't exactly going to shit on the game is he?

There's a pattern forming of you baselessly trying to tell posters they're 'angry' just for posting.

I quoted what I was talking about, which was "Some of us are actually looking forward to this game. We get it, you don't like it. Trade it in and save us the moaning". The statement you then tried to back up. And 'balanced view' doesn't mean being equally positive and negative about something, otherwise every review would be a middle of the road 50% about everything. The bottom line is that you guys agreed to drop it so whatever, the thread can continue unabated.

Yeah I mentioned Pete as a joke. You wouldn't expect him to even be commenting on it.

The weather effects in the game are great. Make it look so much better and atmospheric.
 
I'm just started playing now. Ok, the animations suck, but visually I think it's fine. Nowhere near TW3, but still fairly detailed and pretty.
 
Has anyone managed to make any beds? The base building stuff seems very interesting but I can't figure out how to do it. I have all the necessary materials but it just won't let me build it.

I've built loads of stuff including beds

I can't either. Do you perhaps need a certain skill to build things?

Oh you can join people in this game ala dark brotherhood I just have.

Do you have all the materials too? I checked all the perks and the only building stuff I can see if for weapons and armour.

For me the bed just stays highlighted red and floats in the air. Can't place it anywhere.

I tried putting the sleeping bag on the floor near the workbench and then I tried inside the house but its remained red. Do you need to angle it up somewhere?

Edit - Restarted the game and its working now

encountered some ghouls at a rail station and man, I regret my decision. Takes ages to kill one, my ammo is disappearing fast...I may have to retreat to my gas station, crawl under a bed and pray some ammo falls from the sky. Or swallow my pride and lower the difficulty.

I tried those ghouls on very hard and they take so many bullets that I decided to run away, pretty shameful

It's not fun if the enemies become bullet sponges so I lowered to Hard and I'm enjoying it more
 
I'm enjoying the world, but I just wish the game played better. The gunplay is still not good enough.
 
I don't know where my dog is...I think I might have told him to stay somewhere then forgotten about it. Now how do I find him...
 
Is it so that i have to leave my armor behind? It says it has no fusion cell, but i have 50 in stock.
 
Thanks. I'm convinced it glitched out when I made my character. It wouldn't give me the full options.
