It's usually a couple of hours at best before the official announcement. No value whatsoever.I wouldn't go that far, to be honest. I personally enjoy getting the "here we go" a day or two before the official announcement. But to each their own.

He makes about 10+ claims per day. Can you name me a single one in the last 12 months that he got wrong?
Thought he was retiring?
Argh ye, didn’t look at the date it was tweeted. ThanksOld tweet, one he got wrong
Always called him Fraudbrizio…
Kroos could easily had a change of heart after agreeing to a deal initially. I think he wanted to extend, but then with the league wrapped up and looking good for CL, decided to quit on a high. Things change sometimes
I don't follow transfer gossip much, could you explain a little more? Probably being thick but I don't understand.
I can understand selling clubs and agents wanting to put news out that a player of theirs is in talks with another team as then they can start a bidding war. Higher transfer fee, higher wages etc. But then if another club did swoop in and 'steal' that player it would actually make his initial claim look wrong in the eyes of the public as they'd end up joining a different club altogether. Nobody would be able to prove the club that was supposedly trying to sign him first missed out or was ever even interested to begin with. Clubs do not comment publicly about players they tried, but fail to sign.
He must appear to be wrong sometimes if he's at all successful at stirring up further interest in a player through his leaks. If he never appears to be wrong and was always telling the truth about the initial bid/interest it means this tactic never works so why would anyone want him to work for them after seeing how ineffective it is?
If you're the buying club you don't want it widely known that you're trying to sign somoene as it invites competition. No benefit for them.
If he does none of the above then ignore.
If he's genuinely always right and the players always join the club he says they will then all he's doing is announcing done deals but to who's benefit? What do the buying or selling club/agent get out of him announcing before it's on the club webiste and social media? It's not changing anything at that point.
Help me understand!
There's times where you see him post tweets and they feel quite transparent they're paid promo tweets.
He is king muppet now. There's something quite sordid, empty and actually totally unentertaining about his routine. Muppetry was more fun without him.
He's really fecking annoying isn't he. Constantly retweeting his own stuff, pointless tweets about how deals are still progressing with no new info. It all screams "please notice how I knew things!". And when he's beaten to a story by Ornstein he's swiftly tweeting mere minutes later to 'confirm' this news of course.
The second a final whistle blows in a Euros game he's tweeting "Who was your man of match?" as if he actually gives a shit and doesn't just want more engagement. Tiresome bloke.
Tweeted about our pre season loss but[ complete silence when it comes to the Enzo/Argentina racism thing.
Silence is deafening especially from a man who never shuts the feck up.
I think Ornstein may be ahead for Premier League, but internationally Romano is probably better. Either way, they are the two best, no doubtHe's #2 behind Ornstein. That man is ridiculous.
Have I missed something? Is there a theory behind why you think he's been deliberately silent?Tweeted about our pre season loss but complete silence when it comes to the Enzo/Argentina racism thing.

Oh, so he must totally agree with Enzo Fernandez then…
I think Romano is okay. It’s just transfer gossip. It's hardly important what he thinks, or doesn't think, about anything.
Moreover, he's apparently a transfer specialist.

Yeah he uses very neutral language to avoid ever picking a side or having a view, but what he chooses to post about and the terms used absolutely betrays that. He’s never going to call out City’s dodgy multi club bullshit for example but his reporting of it (“City football group will be signing X to Bahia after transfer to Girona failed, here we go!”) shows he doesn’t give a shit and is at the very least complicit. He never gets involved with putting his 'opinion' on anything. Means he can always say he wasn't wrong / doesn't get involved with the politics of situations. I remember it was the same with the Greenwood stuff. He's a melt.

yeah, it's garbage behaviour really. I think people are clocking on slowly though. Think Ornstein for example has overtaken him as the one to trust most.

Why tweet about the apology if he didn't tweet about the original incident though? Moreover, he's apparently a transfer specialist.
I’m not angry, nor ranting. I do find him irritating though and I’ve explained why in my replies this morning. When I made my initial post he’d still not said anything about it despite not wasting a moment in reporting on our pre season loss. Just because he eventually posted about it doesn’t make it less weird how long it took him. IMO he’s definitely on the Chelsea payroll.I’m confused. What are you actually angry about @Solius? No fan of Romano but he did tweet about Enzo. Why are you ranting?
Really?IMO he’s definitely on the Chelsea payroll.
Yeah I've explained why further up. He gets far too many 'exclusives' for their transfers and always uses neutral language when it comes to their dodgy PSR deals, multi-club stuff, etc..Really?
Hmmm. Wouldn’t be surprised in that case.Yeah I've explained why further up. He gets far too many 'exclusives' for their transfers and always uses neutral language when it comes to their dodgy PSR deals, multi-club stuff, etc..
