Fabregas

I don't know what people are expecting from this presser.

It will either be him categorically ruling it out once and for all or him going some Im not thinking about it I have a contract to Barcelona type response.

He's hardly going to, at a Barcelona pre season presser, say yep I'm not that happy here tbh, I'm off.
Most are hoping for closure, while some hold on to the manifestation of a miracle (fabregas replaced at the presser at thr last moment, or something like that.).

We should do what the Barca players did at the WC. Have Rio and Vidic hidden in among the press and when he comes out grab him and pull a Utd shirt over his head.

They already came out and said they don't need to sell any players in order to buy a defender. They wouldn't have made the bid on Luiz already otherwise.

According to that article, not at the price they've bid. Chelsea want twice that (according to the article).

Woodward will casually stroll in, arms aloft and announce "SURPRISE MOTHERfeckAS" to a stunned Spanish press.

I have always disliked him, in advance.

I reckon there's going to be a keyword he says that sends a signal that it's still on - maybe something like Donkey Kong...

Not sure how what would translate though...

This isn't news. We're all waiting to hear what he says and you're telling us what he might say. Piss off with this shit.
You just know it will be some negative smug crap when you see drifter's name as the last post in a thread.

All good points, Raees...cheers

If he were to leave, now or in the future, would make him look quite the gloryhunter were he to shun London for Manchester, IMO. While professionally, perhaps, few could blame him I have gotten the impression he wouldn't do that to Wenger - but who knows really

Isn't it okay to be a gloryhunter if your a professional footballer? Most players have around 15 years max at the top level. You can't blame anyone for wanting to achieve as much as possible during such a limited time.

Shouldn't most footballers be glory hunters?

I'm only seeing Mascherano quotes. Did Fabregas pull out?

Mascherano: "I perfectly understand Barça want to sign a centre back. We've suffered at that position. I've acted as emergency solution."

Mascherano: Mascherano: "Got some calls, but no firm offers. You have to compete for a spot so you always have some doubts, but the competition is fair"

Probably not - but still, these are the only quotes Barcastuff is tweeting.

It was supposed to be Messi and Fabregas according to the barca website. feck knows what is happening.

I still reckon Cesc at the presser was just to build the pressure on United to firm another proper bid.

I think the doom and gloom in here is misguided. I also think the stories linking us to Fellaini again is all part of our posturing.

Grrr... if there's one trait I hate in footballers it's an interest in winning trophies!

It's lucky the Arsenal fans are right, and RVP only came to United for the money. Otherwise he'd look a right cnut.
