What I'm finding unsettling about this 'saga' is that most of us are pretty much convinced we aren't going to end up signing him regardless of how many bids we put in. Therefore, we're really going to have wasted a lot of time on this for nothing and at the end of July we won't have signed a single first team player.
I don't think Barca have the midfield depth to be selling Fabregas.
He might do next year but it's < 10%. He's not going anywhere this season and he isn't going to Man Utd until hell freezes over.

When I think of it now, the likelihood of this happening is really slim to none. All of these following things would have to be addressed.

Would Cesc want to leave the Nou Camp? He will definitely get more playing time this year, and it's his home town club?
Would Cesc break ties with his Arsenal past to join us ? (I still think it's mad, mind that we are considered "rivals", in Italy players come and go freely amoungt the top 6)
