We're after a DM and he's one of the best, he's also obviously keen on a move. Make it happen ffs.
 
Can play in midfield and RB, wants to join and at a good price. It will be a real shame if we miss out on a quality player like him while getting fleeced for an average player like Perisic

Yeah I was hoping it wasn't Mendes. That's good then, hopefully this will grow legs, but knowing us, it'll drag on longer than La La Land did.

It looks like one of those transfers (Thiago Alcantara), plenty of stuff in the media, player willing as well but it turns out in the end that we never made a bid for him.

Alcantara was willing? I thought the whole issue was him wanting to be reunited with Guardiola.
 
Is there a chance with this transfer? It must be one of the most bizarre ones in that it swings from being an almost done deal to we have no interest whatsoever. It had went quiet but there's been a lot doing the rounds again today. Hope there's some truth or has it all been started again by one dubious tweeter?

Didn't Mourinho say he wanted players that want to play for us or something like that? go get the boy, he's the player we need plus he wants to come
 
I'll start having my doubts over mourinho if it turns out we definitely aren't in for him but we're in for shite like dier or matic

This player is PERFECT for United.

It would be, hardly a long term Carrick replacement when he'll be 29 come the start of the season. At least Dier would have age on his side.
 
I think he is a good player and would suit us perfectly however I do find it strange that not only are we not interested in him but nobody else seems to be either.Or maybe there is stuff happening in the background that Twitterworld doesnt know about.

Think we had a chance. A combination of Moyes evaluation process (which is not over yet) and Guardiola making a firm offer finished the story.

Guardiola got him late in July.

Based on hardly anyone talks like that unless something is going on. They usually dead bat the question. He has a big smile and then effectively drops his knickers and spreads his legs.
