Fabinho

The norwegian suporter club says he's a journalist with good insight in Monaco, so probably not a complete BS'er.
Yeah Bouhafsi has retweeted him and they were both at this charity football game yesterday in Monaco, the photos are on their feeds.

This one is happening too as far as i am concerned. So that is Morata, Perisic and Fabinho. I hope we have a surprise signing left, come on Jose and Woody, entertain me

His he a real journo?
Or is he one of those indykaila who run fake accounts as a hobby?
Like @Zoo says, it's the same Monaco guy with some sort of ITK information. Privatised his main account and created this one to continue posting transfer related rumours. Lord knows how much he actually knows, though he confirmed Silva before anybody.

I see.

Its some sort of analyics algorithm that seems to rate rumour/likelyhood of deals being done. It is usually a good yard stick of possible deals. Nothing is 100% accurate so take it with a pinch of salt.

But the point of the post is, this is the first rumour i have seen where we are actually linked with him. If its ranked here, there is some smoke somewhere. Still dont mean its true of course.
I see. FabINho

There is a lot of rumour, many different sources and reports and whispers and people who "understands"

Not a lot of fact so far that i seen. But in the last 24 hours it has gathered a lot of momentum, probably due to Lindelof and Morata. So we'll watch n post and post n watch. Until we hear more no doubt.

Refusing to get excited over this one.

Just needs more concrete evidence and it does appear to have come out of the blue somewhat since yesterday. If everything turns out to be correct, then I'm a happy bunny.

Lindelof, Morata, Fabinho and Belotti (much to be confirmed) +/- Perisic.

Extremely strong window.

For the price Inter want for Perisic we could get Douglas Costa and have change.

Without sounding OTT, the signing of Fabinho would get me more excited than Morata. Purely because there's a serious lack of available quality central midfielders this window.

I agree with this. Really want Fabinho!

I know which is a shame as he's just as good and younger.

You think Costa would come to United though? He's at Bayern and he's unhappy. Granted I don't know if that's due to playing time or personal stuff but I always worry that when a player is unhappy at the likes of Bayern, would he be happier here?! Germany has much better beer...(and don't even get me started on those fetching leiderhosens)

Really hoping this comes off, he's such a classy operator in the middle of the park and will give other players the license to play to their strengths and really shine. His ability to cover right back is also really useful. Excited for this to happen!

I do think he would come here yes and I see the point you are making but it could be that he's not in Ancelotti plans, not his type of player or even as we've seen with Costa at chelsea a relationship breakdown with the manager.

If so what choice would he have but to move to another top side in a different league?

I just think that if Mourinho is in the market for a winger/wide player and his Inter continue playing hard ball Douglas Costa is a very good alternative and is available for a decent price.

Herrera, Pogba and Fabinho. That's a strong looking midfield!! With Carrick & Fellaini rotating here and there. Defo adding some steal for next season!

We already have De Gea adding the steal

Then, there is also Pereira, who will likely get some playing time too. Lots of technique, tenacy and bite in that midfield

I'm yet to see a credible source linking Fabinho with a move to us. There's a lot of noise, but it just reeks of another "Sneijder" saga.

Didn't Di Marzio or one of his guys have Fabinho on our target list a few weeks ago? Could have been someone else I'm not sure.

This one is too good to be true. He'd make such a difference as Pogba and Herrera would be able to play their natural games with him playing alongside them.

We'll be stuck playing with the bog brush head though.

Would be the strongest midfield we had since the break up of keane scholes etc. Cant get excited yet though, absolutely nobody credible has linked us.

IMO By far our most important signing this window.

Even if Herrera did a very good job he isn't a defensive mid. His instinct is to press forward when we lose possession and that's not ideal in this position. Fabinho reminds me of a Brasilian hybrid between Carrick and Viera.

One of many problems we had last season was our slow transformation from defensive to offensive mood. Whenever we had a chance to counter our midfielders was to predictable and/or opted to pass backwards.

Monaco was great when they counter attacked and it often started when Fabinho got the ball and made a U turn and then stormed forward in full pelt. Great to watch. I hope Mourinho use him the same way (if he) plying for us because we need a new dimension in our build up. That's one of the things I miss most since Fergie left.

Apart from that his presence will give Valencia (and hopefully Mendy) more freedom to bomb forward. Another part of our build up I miss.

Ah, yeah, I had forgotten about this. Nothing credible since then though.

True. But we weren't that far behind in terms of midfield. I mean, barring 4 to 5 matches in which we played very negatively (defensively or cautiously; whichever way you want to put it) we were never run over. It's upfront where we lacked so much. We couldn't find end touches and a lot of counter attacking football went to waste

Was this posted earlier ?
Not sure on the validity of this guy. But he seems to think its on, so best to let you all decide.
