Fabinho could have just as tricky first season as Darmian. Go back a year ago and everyone was raving about him and so pleased we signed him, and now so quick to bin him off for a new toy.
@JPRouve , you are a fan of Monaco, give us some muppetjuice with some insight on the player
I know nothing about him, just the fact that he has a cool name and is Brazilian, therefore I conclude we must get him.

I could live with thatGet rid of Rojo and have Darmian as left back cover.
I'd prefer to keep Darmian over Valencia. Darmian is a good defender but didn't exactly show much in attack last season. Fabinho, by the description on here, is also more of a defender first. Mourinho does like one defensive fullback and one with more license to attack. Will be fun watching Shaw this season is my conclusion heheFabinho could have just as tricky first season as Darmian. Happy with that.Get rid of Rojo and have Darmian as left back cover.
I think he is an "FM legend" First heard about him last year when we were looking a right back and seemed everyone wanted him. Based on his age it reminds me of Embolo where he is this sensation on a video game therefore he could be amazing in real life. I could be wrong but thats the feeling im getting. If he really is the deal though obviously this is a no brainer purchaseIs this guy all that good? Know nothing about him. Knew little about Darmian but most on here were saying it's a bargain and he's a class player, similar to Herrera.

The right-back Fabinho is close to leave Monaco, club defending since 2013. The destination is Manchester United , who have a deficiency in the position and seeks reinforcements on the market after the hiring of coach Jose Mourinho. The English club is negotiating the purchase of the player.
In the 2015/16 season, United had the side the Italian Matteo Darmian, signed from Torino, but he did not like the position. Fabinho, 22, has the admiration of Mourinho, who worked with him at Real Madrid and promoted to the main cast in 2013, shortly before he was loaned to Monaco.
The side that played in the Copa América Centenario for the national team and also acts as the steering wheel, was not released by Monaco to compete in the Olympics and so was even summoned by coach Rogerio Micale for the tournament. To his place, he was called William, International.
If the trade goes ahead, two Brazilian clubs would be entitled to a percentage to be trainers Fabinho: Fluminense and Paulinia.
Like, all of it? Then he must stay.Darmian has just shaved his sideburns and got a suave new hairdo
I think he's going to perform tons better based on that alone.
Can we not just keep darmian too is Fabinho not a DM aswell maybe mourinho sees him in that position.
I think the biggest issue with Darmian as someone once said (maybe it was @devilish?) is that he was virtually used as a wing-back all the time at Torino, which meant offensively and defensively he was only ever up against one player - which (almost always) was the opposing wing-back. Makes things a hell of a lot easier than constantly going against doubled up tricky wingers with attacking fullbacks overlapping. Being part of a back five also meant less aerial responsibility for him against crosses; that's definitely more for the three CBs.
Factor all of this in, in conjunction with his surprisingly mediocre physicality - he's fairly weak, not that quick, and his stamina levels were quite poor: he would often find himself subbed or look completely gassed in matches, makes me wonder just how much he really could improve. Mourinho at the helm or not.
Get rid of Rojo and have Darmian as left back cover.
So is Mourinho deluded then?People who want Fabinho are deluded
People who read these stats and believe have have 2 of the better right backs last season are...People who want Fabinho are deluded

No. He doesn't want him. Yes it was Pre-season but why would he give Valencia the captaincy twice if he didn't want him?So is Mourinho deluded then?

I do not want Darmian to go!!
I believe in the lad and hope he's given the chance to work under Jose.
Fenerbahce. They lost 2-1 in the first leg away, so a big game ahead of them in the return leg on Wednesday.Just like Martial. Who do they play?

I've been saying this for 2 years.
Oh my god, someone else who likes to give a player more than one chance to impress. I dont feel so alone now
It's ridiculous to bin a player after one season in a new league.
Imagine how many players in the past teams could have dumped after one season but didn't, stuck with them and it paid off.
I know mate, not me you have to convince.
