FA Cup 2023/24

Hardly stellar ties

A pretty crap draw but if the last 8 are:

Newcastle
Chelsea or Villa
Bournemouth or Leicester
Liverpool
United
Brighton
Sheff Wed or Coventry
City

Then that's pretty top heavy heading towards the latter stages, especially considering both Arsenal and Spurs got knocked out in all-heavyweight encounters.

So a rubbish last 16 draw means that more than likely there will be at least two belting quarter-finals.

Wrexham should be two ahead here, after a very rocky start.

Decent game. 1-0 to Wrexham atm.

BBC One Wales if you’re interested (Sky 965)

Villa a bit hit and miss here. Have been for a while to be fair so can’t wait for Sunday

Villa been pretty meh at home the last month
1-3 L Newcastle
3-2 W Burnley (Down 2-1 to 10 man Burnley, needed a 90 min penalty to win)
1-1 Sheffield

and now down 0-1 to Chelsea

Why am I even watching a Chelsea game? It is the most boring team with the most boring matches this season.

I swear I’ve never seen you say anything remotely positive or even neutral about Chelsea. It’s all whinging and moaning. Chelsea had probably the most entertaining game of the season.

The space villa leave between midfield and defence never mind in behind is incredible.
it works when the high press works but it’s a disaster if that breaks down

Villa fallen off a cliff this year. Chelsea on the other hand are bizarre, they are playing really well tonight.

The first 25 minutes from Villa - must be the must underwhelming performance from any team this season. They are lucky only to be 2 down against THAT Chelsea-side
