FA Cup 2023/24

Can't stand Liverpool but wish we went about games with this much intensity, their players actually run while most of ours at most, jog
I think the same when watching Newcastle. Yeah it’s cringey watching them playing to the crowd and beating their chests etc, but they run a damn sight more than our lot do.

Sometimes it really is just about effort, desire, running, etc. You can have the best tactics in the world, but you won’t get far without hard work.

Agreed, I wouldn't say some of Liverpool's players are world class but they work hard and as a team. A large percentage of ours are neither world class nor hard workers. I remember Park for us, he isn't someone who you'd put as world class but worked his arse off every game and was out for the team. So many of ours are out for themselves. Liverpool's are even jogging and moving off the ball, constantly following play. It's infuriating

Cup game so won't be points deduction.
1. Kick both teams out of the FA Cup this season
2. Give whoever draws them in the next round this season a bye
3. Make both teams play their next two FA cup games without fans (no crowd if drawn at home, no away ticket allocation if drawn away)

Are we sure TAA is good? Klopp turned Großkreutz from 12 months in the 2.Bundesliga into a two time BL winner and World Cup winner. 12 months post Klopp he was back in the 2. Bundesliga. Now Bradley looks like a worldbeater. Maybe it´s just the RB position in his system. ;)

Has anyone told Norwich they‘re playing a cup game?

They look like they’re playing a league game and only want to get a point from a draw

Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool, United, Brighton and City all going to be in the last 8 by the looks of it. Going to be tough to win it.

Did he go and apologise to his bestie Klopp?
Admittedly I only saw the replay, but looked to me like he was sat there looking depressed as feck while his staff jumped about celebrating the goal :wenger: Maybe I just misread the situation but given how pathetically he's groveled to Klopp in the past then I thought it was interesting.

City and Liverpool. Tactical fouling and no yellows is the unwritten rule at this stage.

Gakpo has had a stinker today.

Remember all those years when Chelsea were hoovering up cups on the back of incredibly generous draws, would take a few years of that at Utd.

All the cups we’ve won since Frogie retired have been with favourable draws. We’ve barely had a single heavyweight win at the new Wembley actually, aside from Community Shields.

VVD doing his usual, stand and watch the opponent shoot.

No wonder he doesn’t get dribbled past, he barely tackles.

A few more years then, strange thinking back to the Fergie years how often they drew PL teams, but given how badly they tended to play again the lower level teams on the odd occasion they did get that type of tie perhaps not a bad thing.
