F1 Season 2025

I love Melbourne being the first race. There's a real excitement for getting up in the middle of the night for the first race of the season.
I just wish it was still Murray greeting us

It wouldn't be the start of an F1 season without an early start for the first few races.

Do reserve drivers bring money with them?
Depends on the team usually. A bigger academy like RB probably covers them mostly while they're in there. Not sure about Ferrari. But reserve drivers can bring sponsors with them - if only to help off set the cost of the driver to the team and to help them keep a foot in the door. With Zhou having the hopes and dreams of China behind him id be very surprised if he doesnt bring some cash with him.

Really? I thought it was interesting enough. Not like super great or informative but interesting nonetheless
Well the story of Senna has always been interesting yeh, the documentary from years ago proves that, but I just found this very cheaply done, with some very cringy scenes. The CGI was shocking bad aswell, felt more like an intro to a video game than actual TV. The guy that played Senna was good though I thought.

Yeah fair, can’t really argue with any of that.

Watching some old seasons on f1tv and Herbert pronouncing Leclerc as Leclerk is really getting on my nerves

Love this. Reminds me of a toy fighter plane I had as a kid that was orange & black camo.

That Williams car isn't in the new livery but Sky Sports seem to be hinting at what it'll be.

The F1 2025 launch event will take place at London’s The O2 on February 18, with the two-hour show kicking off at 2000 GMT.

I like the idea of all the cars being revealed in one place, well I say cars 2025 cars will not be there.

What will be happening at F1 75 Live?

Each team will get their moment during the course of the evening as they reveal their respective 2025 liveries and driver line-ups, with each being given creative licence to make their livery unveil truly unique.

There will also be red carpet arrivals from drivers, team principals and celebrities plus plenty of extra entertainment in store, with the show being brought to life by BrianBurkeCreative and the world-renowned team that created the opening and closing ceremonies for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2023.

What is the entertainment at F1 75 Live?
The evening will be hosted by comedian and actor Jack Whitehall, and will feature US country sensation Kane Brown, award-winning multi-platinum recording artist mgk, composer Brian Tyler’s Are We Dreaming, and the iconic British band Take That.
They will take to the stage for an unforgettable night of entertainment at London’s The O2 Arena alongside all 10 Formula 1 teams and 20 drivers to celebrate the sport’s 75th anniversary.

Jack Whitehall will also be joined throughout the night by familiar faces from F1 TV Laura Winter, Ariana Bravo and Lawrence Barretto.

This is going to be a right shit show

I'd say you're absolutely right given what a cringe fest that was.

Could F1 be changing the rules for the Monaco Grand Prix?

Formula 1 is to try to spice up the Monaco Grand Prix by forcing drivers to make at least two pit stops. Criticism has been growing in recent years that the historic race has become pedestrian, because overtaking is close to impossible on the tight street circuit in the Mediterranean principality.

What they should do instead is make the track more difficult for the drivers by doing something like forcing them to run with high rear brake bias. Good luck going fast and keep the car under control in those corners.

I agree something needs doing, but an extra pit solves nothing, there is plans on paper to change the track in places, I think this should be the route that should be looking at.

Could just save us all a few hours and scrap the whole thing.

if you rig the sport for the tik tok and netflix crowd, then be prepared to have the sport reduced to the tik tok and netflix crowd.
