F1 Season 2025

Just a bit of fun and a night out for some people. Dunno how many actually care about the livery reveals?

edit: alright, bit cringe.

Could F1 be changing the rules for the Monaco Grand Prix?

Formula 1 is to try to spice up the Monaco Grand Prix by forcing drivers to make at least two pit stops. Criticism has been growing in recent years that the historic race has become pedestrian, because overtaking is close to impossible on the tight street circuit in the Mediterranean principality.

About time, having to use all three compounds during the 2 stops should liven up the dullest GP on the calendar a little.

VCARB definitely stands out with that white livery. Not so sure about the rest, they all look kind of same as last year

There’s potential there, the Aston Martin one was cool, and there were some good bits with the historic teams and their history, could be a good way to advertise the sport to the general public where F1 isn’t as popular as it is in let’s say the UK or Italy. But a lot of it was shit and plenty to improve on.

General consensus amongst the teams is that it could be an epic season, a general consensus that the field is very very close in the final season of these regulations.

And no matter what you think of Hamilton, you cannot be excited by the thought of Max battling Hamilton in a Ferrari, could be some serious fire works on & off the track.

Thats assuming Lewis is faster than Charles and the RB is fully competitive again. I wouldnt mind some of the spice being with different drivers too.

Hamilton’s a 7 times world champion. He’s seriously fast. He’s the only driver who’s been able to put up a fight against Verstappen. Just need to give him a fast car.

Aye but George still went toe to toe with him. And yes Lewis may have played around with more setup differences than him but that doesn't explain everything.

No one’s really gone too different from last year.

I must say I love that red on the Ferrari. Although the white bit ruins it a little. Would look even sleeker if that bit was black.
Yeah the only cool one really is Visa Cash app. They basically took the Turkey (technically for Japan) RB livery and made it permanent.

Looking forward to all of F1 coverage this season being at least 50% more brain rot.

Massive HP logo and a lot of white on that Ferrari = Ugly ugly car! What have they done!

Quite like the shade of red HP have used on their car.

Watch out if Toyota start throwing serious money at HAAS. Their racing development has changed in the past 10 years and gazoo racing is a serious operation. Pretty much dominating most series they enter into.
Yeah I do agree Haas is a dark horse. They've made some very notable advancements last season and it seems they finally are starting to have the backing and structure required to be a perennial player. With Haas being "America' team" as they call themselves and Cadillac and Ford entering the grid there will be a lot more American influences soon. Liberty having been step 1.

I really really hope that's true

It'll be so frustrating to finally get the close racing everyone is desperate for (that we did see a fair amount of last season too)

Only for rule changes next season and someone will probably nail it and win by 30 seconds every time. Shame they can't reverse the rule change/delay for a season if we do get a really close field this season

For next season I suspect Merc will start with a big advantage in terms of the new engines, and RB will suffer. So don’t be surprised to see Verstappen driving a Merc engine car in 2026, either Aston Martin or Mercedes.

FIA ‘sources’ were seriously unhappy with how one team were treated during F1 75 launch event

Honestly hard to disagree with that. The way RB was rushed off stage without getting to be interviewed as well like all the other teams was odd as hell. RB itself may have agreed to it given the chorus of boos but c'mon - that shouldn't have been a thing. Wonder if Horner speaking was in lieu of the usual speaking to the team after the car came on stage bc they didn't want to put Max thru being booed. (Though he probably didn't mind not having to speak). Either way it was awkward at best, juvenile possibly being the better assesment.
