F1 2023 Season

It was actually a decent sprint from the stands, Red Bull is simply different animal to control in comparision with other cars. Max makes it looks so easy, but Sainz actually followed Perez nicely through entire race, with DRS maybe he would have him today too. Norris was excellent, he constantly put pressure on Leclerc who had shit race today. Albon did well, but strategy and drying the track fecked him up.

Russel driver the day easily, I don't know if that was his or Mercedes' decision to go on slicks so early? Even Stroll managed to defend really well against Alonso, some good battles today between those two.

Missed the sprint race, read up on bbc f1 about it. Was Perez manouver shitty or is max upset that someone passed him and it was his teammate?

I don't think Max opponents will ever learn that you simply don't allow him to go on inside. He always throws himself and you can't do nothing about him except hit him and ruin yourself a race.

Just watched the sprint as was out earlier

It was fantastic! So much action, why can't the race be like that?! Shows the difference a wet track makes to the excitement levels

Ridiculous how Max was 30 seconds clear after only 24 laps what's he going to do tomorrow... Perez did well for the first lap but shouldn't be 30 seconds behind

Rain + specific track

Yes Russell told the team if this was quali I'd be pitting now for slicks on the lap before he came in. He said he allowed the team to assess the risk with the remaining laps.

I thought they banned Max’s trademark move of throwing it down the inside out of control and blocking the outside car at a snails pace whilst Max recovers?

Technically everyone stayed on track and no one was forced off kinda. Checo only went off a bit after the corner if I recall correctly so that's just racing.

Late breaking into corners is allowed if you keep it on track and don't force people off. It up to the driver ahead to defend the inside better.

Then there's also the key fact they are more lenient on lap 1 and they basically never hand out punishments for incidents between teammates ever. Like we have seen a million crashes between teammates that get zero punishment so this was really a nothing incident.

If it was with another's teams driver it might have been more a discussion. Same for Checo pushing Max onto the grass. No big deal because nothing happened in the end and because it was his teammate. If that's a different driver it's a bigger deal.

Watching the onboards there's very little steering movement into turn 3, but you could say the car could have been squirming under braking at the turn. However Norris' steering action and on board view tells a different story. I think it's just the usual overtaking moment that we saw from Rosberg on Hamilton all those years ago.

You are all scum for watching the sprint bollocks

Did not know Richard Verschoor coached Dilano van 't Hof. That made this win even more bitter sweet.

Boo :( hopefully some of them being out of position will help

Turn 3, possibly turn 4, on the first lap will be the one where we'll see some drama hopefully.

Just saw on Sky, Verstappen has led every lap of the last 3 Grand Prix, most likely will make it 4 today.

Ooh fingers crossed then

I can't remember the last time we had a first corner incident, maybe Zhou's scary crash at Silverstone last year?

Probably not having agents Latifi and Schumacher helps

Or Russian half man half torpedo Mazepin.

I wont get to watch this till this evening. So i will congratulate max on another easy sunday drive win. How much did he win by? 45 second gap to 2nd? And he was taking it easy?

Also ferrari on strategy again? What were they playing at?

Will be watching to see how Lando does, I feel he's a fast driver but so often he gets involved in issues that drop him back. He has to make some of these quali positions count and bring the car home within the car's limits without ending up at the back somewhere and fighting his way through again into the points.

Oh my god I'd be absolutely fuming if I was Sainz, told not to fight Charles, now 6th
