Did Verstappen, Norris and Hamilton get lucky or did they wait to see if it would get upgraded to a full SC? They all went past the pit lane once whilst is was a virtual safety car.

I think they were saying Lewis was in the wrong part of the track to instantly come in during the VSC but may be wrong

McLaren have really stuffed this. Can see Hamilton and Russel p2 and p3 now.
He definitely went past once, but it would have been a quick decision at the time.

I've never been a fan of these safety car pit rules.
Thanks to quali yesterday all teams should have known how long it takes the Silverstone crew to clear a car off track but only RB and Merc seemed to get that.
Not surprised Lando is annoyed, sounds like Lewis doesn't have new softs so unless Landos were completely fecked why not put him on soft
