That pole was 2 seconds off last years lap, 2 seconds! 2020 lap times are going to be the benchmark for years.
Did you not see what he did or just pretending to not see it?But why in Hungary?
But why in Hungary?
What the feck does that have to do with this? What a stupid argument.
He did nothing wrong, did nothing against the rules.Did you not see what he did or just pretending to not see it?

I don't know how the teams think about when to send their cars out in Q3, and for sure there's an inherent risk to going out last because you could be forced to make a dash for the line and not be able to optimize the tyre temperature.
But let's not act like Mercedes didn't quite intentionally squeeze back the Red Bulls there, and it's not something we ser going on most weekends. Whatever Hamilton was doing on his out lap was very much outside the norm because his own tyres were clearly shit and his last lap was 2 seconds off the time.
this has nothing to do with this race, just let it drop.
Lewis pure gamesmanship, did not break any rules.
Are there stats on that? That was Lewis fastest warm up lap this weekend. So not sure he can even be blamed.
Don't care what Horner says, it was a cheap trick regardless who does it.He did nothing wrong, did nothing against the rules.
RB could have come out first but Lewis and Bottas controlled the track.
Horner has just said he would maybe done the same, so whats the problem ?
But why in Hungary?

What did Max do on track that was dirty to Hamilton? Or are you suggesting Lewis is petty enough to take Max's comments on him onto the track?
Act like a dick and be treated like a dick in return? They don’t deserve sportsmanship after the way they behaved.
He spoke out in favour of LGBTQ+ rights? I’m only kidding, of course everyone hates the guy that’s been winning for years. Happens in all sports.

OK so you are the fourth person here that doesn't know the pilots had agreed between themselves not to overtake. Max simply chose to honor that agreement.I was watching Q3 but didn't see anything wrong.
Max could have easily passed Hamilton if he had wanted. But was trying to get an advantage. Didn't pay off.
His choice.

The bias here is unreal. Then again, maybe it's not fair to expect that in a British forum. Maybe this is how the opposition fans feel when they come on here for football stuffI think most people that follow F1 and are not british are very much rooting against him for obvious reasons.
Yes but they are allowed to go past him. Their speed is on them it's not like they are forced to keep position like behind a safety car.Did he not try to run the clock down ?
But why in Hungary?

The analysis guy on Sky Germany mentioned it, not sure what's his name. Are there stats on that?

That was very much unsportsmanlike from Lewis and Merc. Never said it's illegal. I'm sure everyone on here would be fuming if the tables were turned.Talk about being petty...If the cap fits...
Agreed, quite rare these days innit. The honourable Max. My hero.

Anyway, I'm out of this thread. It's clear there is a bias to Hamilton here. Which I get with his nationality. No point in arguing further.

HA HA maybe you should read the whole thread instead of just the since the last race, just as many dont like has like him. That was very much unsportsmanlike from Lewis and Merc. Never said it's illegal. I'm sure everyone on here would be fuming if the tables were turned.

I don't think it would have made a difference in the order, because I don't think that Verstappen had a 15.4 in him, and the track seemed like it got slower maybe. Also Perez sure wasn't improving from 4th... but still as a spectator I do prefer watching everyone getting one last "clean" attempt are their best time.It literally had no impact on the timings, but I’m sure everyone will moan for the next 24 hours![]()
This I can understand, last lap of Q3 should be all about speed.I don't think it would have made a difference in the order, because I don't think that Verstappen had a 15.4 in him, and the track seemed like it got slower maybe.
