F1 2019 season

I’d love to see what would be said if Hamilton was acting like Vettel is right now

Hamilton, what a feckin arsehole. Is that ok with the fanboys?
What's wrong with you?

When did Hamilton become steward? Should Hamilton dim his talent to make your boy win?

You should be pissed with Seb for another error.

Glad that Vettel has shown the maturity by being on the podium and congratulating Hamilton despite being aggrieved, he's a 4-time champ. I put the moving of the sign down as a little joke.

he is pissed off, should he be happy/ feckin hell.:wenger:

Vettel would have moaned like fxxk had it been the other way round. It was his mistake yet again. At least Hamilton behaved properly.

Hamilton showed class there, pulling Seb on the top.
That's all for show. He thinks the penalty was deserved.

The FIA should just stop the season and hand the title to Lewis and Mercedes. Stewards taking such shite decisions just adds up to this.

Well done Hamilton, indeed Vettel raced well but I honestly thought the FIA got this decision correct rule wise. Vettel has a reputation for driving recklessly at times and although I have no doubt that he did try to just keep control of his car at that moment, his racing still went against the rules. For reference, a similar decision went against Hamilton in a past race, it is how it is.
That's not how that incident was.

Absolutely the wrong decision and a shame for Vettel.
But swap the front two in that position; Hamilton doesn’t make the same mistake.

The crowd Lewis, fecking idiots , not his fault, if they want to boo , go an boo at the stweards they are the ones that fecked the race up
Mercedes were goading the stewards to penalize Seb. They are within their rights but then so is the crowd to boo their poster boy.

Lewis does everything he can to make people love him, yet everything that happens on the track makes people hate him

can understand Vettels frustration but as a Merc fan I’m kind of bias towards them. Lewis has to put his breaks on and go wide, if he was able to keep to the racing line he would have passed Seb.

The error kind of fecked up Lewis’ pressure on Vettel and he dropped back out of DRS for another few laps which helped Vettel again.

Bit of a shit move from Vette to swap the position markers around at the end and there is definitely some bad feeling there now but feck it, get in there Lewis!!

Think we need a cafe poll on who deserves the victory... ;)

It's Vettel's mistake that cost him the win at the end of the day, decision might be a little harsh but his mistake created it.

After race he seems to always says the right things but on race, he appears to be whining a lot even when he's on the advantage.

I will bow to your better knowledge , I never saw or heard them say anything.
Seb made a mistake and paid for it, wrongly in my opinions and yes booing Lewis is they only thing they can do.

I get why Vettel rejoined where he did because no one is just gonna let the car behind through but I see why they’ve given him a penalty too coming back on like that at a lower speed pushing the other car wide into the wall
I genuinely think he could have lowered his speed more to come back in to the track on the near side out of the racing line. The opportunity was there no matter how much control he said he had coming off the grass.

That was my initial reaction too but obviously having not driven an F1 car I wouldn’t know for sure!

Immediately after the incident, Lewis was on the radio and Mercs responded saying they will take up the matter. What else could they have meant? I understand winning at all costs but then Lewis shouldn't act like this guy who only wants to win the right way.

There's actually a pretty good precedent for the penalty with this: https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/...el-despite-podium.19bSNIUNHGKmsqa0OoCUOA.html

Even has a video to show it. Was also a five second penalty, just looked at the comments on here after that one and you have one person saying right call (me) and two people declaring that five seconds wasn't enough of a penalty (one was Santi because of course it was).

If you think Ferrari wouldn’t have been crying about it if it was the other way around you are dreaming.

You don't need to have driven an F1 car to know if you skid there is very little you can do apart from trying to prevent a crash. He was still trying to align his car when he came off the grass. What could he have done?

The opportunity was there no matter how much control he said he had coming off the grass.

I think the point from the FIA will be that he had no control, he oversteered as his car hit the tarmac.
