F1 2018 Season

After that, I'd actually bet on Ferrari to take it tomorrow. Their car seem to be able to take care of the tyres better when it's hot.

I also think this might very well be a two-stopper - especially since Red Bull will go with an attacking strategy and an early stop I'd imagine.

How close is qualifying? Madness.

Think Lewis will somehow manage an easy win tomorrow. He's had trouble all season but he's almost always mega at Silverstone.

Gonna be tough for Merc in this heat, sounds like they're going to split the strategies but I imagine they and most of the other teams will be forced into a two stop. Ferrari might be able to manage just one if Austria is anything to go by, think they just need to hope that Seb's neck can last the whole race.

Damn we're flying right now

If the conditions don't change we're gonna take P1 and P2 i think.

Edit no we might not because Kimi will get a penalty for this

Woah 10 second penalty.

Strange that Kimi gets 10 seconds when Vettel got 5 in France... Very little between the two incidents for me.

I've not been watching this for a while so no idea on the consistency of these things but that should never be a penalty for me. Opening laps always used to be given more leeway over these things due to the track being so busy, it's not like he did it intentionally, it's the definition of a racing incident.

They do need to sort this penalty situation out. You should have to take within a certain time not when you want.

I think that is them acknowledging the 5 second penalty was too lenient.
Might be right. Guess it's good if they've learned their lesson, but still frustrating to see the inconsistency... Shouldn't really be seeing it within a season.

Passing thirteen cars in eleven laps really shows the gap between the top six cars and the rest.
It's great that the six are so close but the gap to the rest is so big

Why a penalty for Kimi while nothing happened to Max last race? The stewards have a raging hard on for Merc and Hamilton. Feck them.

Not just that. Max basivally did worse last weekend and the poster boy gets nothing ans the Hamilton fanbois on here said it wasna racing incident. There's not much difference except that Kimi didn't spin out last race like Hanilton. So the stewards gave him a penalty. Might as well ask the Ferraris to start at the back or with a 30 second penalty every race.

Must have missed Max locking up and knocking another car to the back of the grid. Sick of these ridiculous conspiracies.

Yeah you basically missed Max hitting Kimi's rear tyres causing him to lose balance and losing the place to Max. Might as well pay more attention from here on out.

Kimi nearly pushed Max into the grass one or two corners before Max hit him (which everyone conveniently ignored). Softer contact, no damage.

I get the frustration and there are similarities, but it’s not 100% comparable.
